You get what you pay for. Went about 11 am on a Saturday. I always like witherspoons. But this was probably the worst. The tables looked like they'd just had a kids' food throwing party. The breakfast was OK apart from the deep fried rock cakes, formerly known as black pudding.Toilet cubicles need a lot of work. Literally. And the tea/coffee station was an absolute mess. Obviously short staffed? If not then the manager needs to pull their finger out. Won't be going back there in a hurry.

Really surprised with this place, we visited on a Sunday morning it was busy but we found a seat. The breakfast was good and very cheap, we’ll definitely be back.

Always enjoy coming into The Old Chapel, whether for food or a drink, I also love the classic look of the decor, it gives off a certain architectural ambience.

Good atmosphere, great service and ladies toilets on the ground floor!
Nice pub close to the train station and town centre.Good selection of beers as usual for Wetherspoons and the obligatory Wetherspoons slow service.Great interior with seating on two floors. We didn't consume food, but for those having food what I saw coming from the kitchen looked very nice.Atmosphere was the typical Wetherspoons flavour, friendly banter, but noisy. Not bad upstairs where we sat.
