Called in whilst cycling along the Lune. Friendly welcome. Convivial atmosphere. Great service. Superb beer (Timothy Taylor, Landlord). Good food, we had fish and chips and Gamon.Brilliant, a must for the hungry traveller.

Friendly staff top village pub and made my 19 Yr old sons birthday finish with a smile. Not entirely sure what previous review was about but was definitely a different pub. Get yourself down for pie peas and a pint if not the music nights are the best. Thanks to a warm friendly family team for every time we visit. The best.
Me and my friends go for tea regularly to the greyhound since Karen and Chris took over. They are so welcoming and helpful. Karen knew this week we were all trying to lose our Christmas pounds and recommended the home made chilli. It was delicious and all low fat. I would thoroughly recommend trying it out.
