Poor service no trays all very

Like most Morrisons Cafes, this one appears to be let down woefully by the store/company management. The floor staff at the cafe are always friendly, and are clearly often stretched beyond capacity. There seems to be a significant lack of haste to fix broken equipment, and little support is provided to the core team at busy times. This is indicative of poor management, who are failing to recognise the difficulties faced by their staff.I don't exactly expect the highest quality food from this cafe and I recognise that it is very convenient but with a little extra support and managerial effort it could be made much better.

I was distrusted for the last 2 times I've been there as hubby and I went in for lunch hubby picked out a pie with chips they didn't have it, then he picked something else they didn't have so ended up asking what they did have, the staff seemed moody and frustrated saying 2 people off sick, the store managers should sort this out why should it be our problem. Then my daughter came with grandchildren we asked for kids meal deal toasties they didn't have any left at 12.30 LUNCHTIME, so we asked what else they could have on the meal deal they said nothing left so then we tried to order something for adults so kids could eat free but everything we asked for they didn't have. WHY offer kids deal if you don't have them and as far as kids eat free. That's a laugh too, oh and the coffee machine was not working on both visits, they said you can go get one in the store, why should we be the ones going to get it, then having to wait for someone to come in before we can go back into the cafe. My daughter walked out disgusted with hungry children ?

Had the ultimate breakfast. 3 very soft almost mushy tasteless sausages, 2 piece's of rock hard black pudding, 1 egg (honestly 1 egg is not ultimate) and 2 rubber mushrooms. It was awful. And the noise from people (including staff) scraping the chairs across the floor constantly was deafening and really annoying.

I decided to visit Morrison's cafe this morning as my kitchen is upside down. I ordered avocado on toast with 2 poached eggs. When it arrived the strangest shaped eggs were balanced on my toast. I cut into them to find they were hard boiled certainly not poached. I asked the lady at the counter, who then told me they were sent in in pouches and basically it was down to pot luck if they turned out right. Not only were the eggs rock hard and rubbery, but the thought that we are being given eggs that are cracked open in a pouch ready to be cooked is beyond me. How long has the egg been sat in that waiting to be cooked. What should have been a healthy meal was ruined for me. I won't be returning.

Sower faced staff is the first thing that greets you. Constant scraping of chairs on the floor and the noise of children. It's not a nice experience.

Not a reliable cafe. My son has ASD, so comes here with the intention to eat a specific menu meal. We avoid late in the day, so that there's more chance foods won't be gone, yet there is often a reason that certain things on the menu are not available (drinks machines/frying equipment being cleaned, fires, or just out. The food they can do, if we find something or they look on the shop floor for it is always tasty, but make sure they bring you what the menu lists, as they can miss out items. I don't think that cleaning machines and equipment is an acceptable reason to disrupt service. I think this should be done outside of serving times.

dreadful ordered two fish goujon sandwiches supposedly inclusive of chips...with drinks came to £15....and got a goujon salad...a pieces of fish and leaves....despite what it said on the receipt told it was children’s menu and I had got wrong....basically don't give a toss just another customer that doesn't matter...so left the store and took my shopping money and spent it in Aldi which is just up the road

Nice decor, pleasant staff. Needs supporting or they'll close it. But, they really need to CLEAN the TABLES. This is especially important during Covid times

Dirty Tables, had to ask the staff 3 times to clean the table before we could sit down, not very covid friendly didn't bother to wash his hands before handling food after cleaning the table. In the end we just got a refund and left

Worst breakfast ever, food cold and nor cooked properly, half tomato raw and not even warm, never seen a frying pan or grill. Always used to be good cafe. Needs vast improvement. Very dissapointed. Always shop at Morrisons, but not for breakfast anymore.
