Great selection of new and old films shown. The Mystery Film is always an exciting event to go to.Only criticism I would give is the seats are maybe not the most comfortable, and there’s no cup holders.

Such a great hub for cinema and music and art and teeming with friendly, like-minded people. There are always different and interesting events going on, mini festivals etc. Great atmosphere. Oh, and the staff are really lovely and helpful, too! Highly recommended :)

A small theatre venue but actually really quaint. Went to see Lizzie there and it was amazing! There is a cute little cafe too which you can visit before the theatre or during the interval.

We, and a large crowd at Caldicot Castle, were greatly entertained by this joyful and enthusiastic company last evening. There was no real loss of momentum in the latter stages caused by the weather. The players should be congratulated.

We go to the Dukes a lot. It always shows a rich and varied programme of films and the atmosphere in the foyer/cafe is warm and welcoming. Their summer plays in the park are superb and are one of the highlights in the Lancaster calendar.

Great arts centre, visited the cinema - super cheap, friendly staff and nice snacks! Seats are roomy and not bad leg room.

Very helpful staff. Cinema 1 screen - quite a lot of seating. Posted time for starting was the start time of the film. May be because it was the first film of the day.

We saw around the world on the first night, it's very good and we would go again. The bit that was special for me was the actress playing Miss Fix interaction with a selection of children as we walked from scene to scene. We held back to hear the to and fro between them.

Service, location, restaurant all par excellence. I'm definitely going back.

I've lived away from Lancaster for the last 25 years. I used to visit The Dukes regularly in the 1990s. It's not changed much since then. Not entirely a bad thing. The bar area is still nice. Auditorium is still a decent size, but it's the exact same seats and a musty smell. Also, the sound was way too quiet. Went to see Raging Bull and sometimes struggled to hear the quieter parts of the movie. 4 stars for the bar and memories.

Lovely theatre, a little cramped. Dated toilets.Staff were fantastic, helpful and cheerful ?

Welcoming staff, comfy seats. I didn't have any refreshments but the lobby is very spacious and there's a few tables to use if you need though they were all full when we arrived. Toilets are clean but feel a little dated (sort of remind me of school for some reason)

Great little theatre looking forward to returning. Up and coming young dramatics at its best. Great production of "Animal Farm". Look forward to much more. Thank you ?

Had a great evening at the theatre last night to see Judy & Liza. The two ladies were amazing and great to see so many people there supporting both the show and the theatre. A truly lovely evening.

I have loved The Dukes since I was 15, (in 1970) I and others spent 5 nights per week in those days. We saw lots of theatre and met lots of actors. It was and still it a fabulous place with a great atmosphere and welcoming staff.
