Absolutely to be avoided. The staff appear to think that they are doing you a favour by their mere presence. Complete unwarranted arrogance on all levels. The venue is just ok. Nothing special. The staff however think that they are. You are not. Avoid.

Superb coffee and very tasty freshly made breakfast pastries, cakes and sandwiches. It seemed to be very dog friendly so maybe not great if you are allergic to animals.

Best coffee in Lancashire. Nice fresh Sandwich's & cake's.Only negative is when you get 1 person with a laptop spread out on a table for 4 and they are there for hours, They should be made to occupy the single tables first, because this place is so popular and we have left before because no spare tables!!

Wonderful speciality coffee, worth a stop!

A regular at all three atkinsons, always been a lovely causal place with great drinks, food and baristas. Today me and my mum came for coffee and matcha, but they got our milks wrong (an easy mistake). They fixed it right away and even gave us a cake on the house!

The best coffee on Lancashire, made and served with care. Bakery on premises turning out delicious cakes too. Lovely staff.

I really love the coffee and the food here but please please please can you turn the music down? It's usually so obnoxiously loud and overwhelming it ruins eating/drinking in especially if I'm with someone I want to talk to.

A perfect place to stop and shelter from the rain! I had the hazelnut and apricot flapjack and a latte which were both excellent. Noticed they sell beers from among others Farm Yard including a collaboration with Atkinsons themselves who provided the hibiscus flowers - Purple Burglar Alarm. A good excuse to return to sample this Sour beer.

I was disappointed, I had high expectations based on the ratings and comments, I don’t know if it’s because I came before closing by 30 mins, but I didn’t enjoy the flat white taste.Though the staff were great and welcoming, I appreciated that.In general, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Laid back, stripped back venue. Student staff who are extremely pleasant. Beautiful fresh sandwiches and cakes. Vast selection of coffes

The staff lent me a charger for my phone and saved my life on my first day in Lancaster...soups and sandwiches are a must! Definetely I recommended to stop by here

Lovely place that makes great coffee. Only problem is there are usually too many selfish single customers taking up tables with seating for 4 people.

Solid Lancaster coffee house vibes.Wait. What does that mean? It means inoffensively middle-class atmosphere and strong liquid stimulants. It's like acceptable drug use.Sometimes the hall feels like a crèche, but that's ok because aren't all children our collective responsibility?Honestly though, the coffee is great.
