We had our wedding day here on 27th August 2023. From the moment we met Paris we were made to feel so comfortable. All the staff from the wedding planning team, to the reception staff and catering staff have been amazing in catering to our every want and need. The team were all so welcoming and did everything they could to make our day so special. We didn’t have to worry knowing that our wedding was clearly in the hands of people who obviously love what they do and put so much effort into it. The food was delicious and had so many compliments, the venue is stunning and the day was perfect with not one hiccup. We couldn’t thank you enough for everything you did for us.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding reception at Mytton Fold on 24th June this year, and from the moment I arrived with our daughters (bridesmaids!) on the Friday night, until we all departed on the Sunday morning, we received the greatest care, the most outstanding hospitality, and had the happiest of wedding celebrations. Our wedding organiser Paris looked after all the arrangements prior to our wedding, and owing to her fabulous organisational skills and attention to detail, we didn’t have any worries before our big day, and the reception itself went without a hitch. In fact, the whole team went above and beyond to make sure that we had the happiest of days, including Elizabeth who helped set up the function suite the day before (she even went out of her way to do some last minute shopping for us!). Also on our wedding day the management staff came to my rescue when my wedding transportation didn’t turn up, very kindly driving my bridesmaids and myself to the church so we could get there on time! I can’t recommend Mytton Fold enough, it’s a beautiful place with fabulous accommodation, and the best of all, fantastic staff who go out of their way to make sure that you have the day of your lives. Absolutely PERFECT. We celebrated our golden wedding here yesterday. Everyone agreed it was just perfect. We were a party of fourteen , including three children under ten. The staff helped us to make the arrangements and made sure everything was in place beforehand. On the day we had the area behind the floral screen, but in fact it was great as no one was in the adjoining room ! The service was spot on, everything was perfect. All the meals were served at the same time, amazingly. Friendly helpful courteous staff made sure everyone was happy and without being obtrusive did a good job . The food was EXCELLENT, everyone was amazed at the quality and amount of food. We moved outdoors afterwards to a very pleasant area and the children could let off steam !!. Thank you everyone for making our Golden Wedding perfect. We will definitely be returning soon.

We got married at Mytton Fold on 13th August 2023. We had viewed several wedding venues in the Ribble Valley area and nothing stood out to us more than this venue. The staff were all so welcoming and helpful from the minute we arrived at the viewing. The venue is very clean with a modern decor. It has character but not too much which makes it the perfect wedding venue as any decor/colour scheme would work with the venue! The hotel itself is beautiful. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are lovely. We had a meal in the main restaurant the night before our wedding which was 10/10! Our wedding co-ordinator, Paris, was absolutely amazing. She made the process so easy and took all the stress away. Nothing was too much trouble! The staff on the day were also incredible. We felt like royalty! Our day ran so smoothly and everything was placed exactly where we wanted it. The wedding breakfast was perfect and all our guests commented how good the food was. We cannot recommend Mytton Fold enough!

We had our wedding at Mytton Fold on 16th June and can confirm the day was everything we could have wanted and more! The staff have been so attentive to every detail we have requested and we couldn’t have wished for a better wedding co-ordinater than Paris. Patryk the manager is so helpful and adhered to our every need, the team are a true credit to Mytton Fold and we had no issues whatsoever from the start to finish of our wedding planning. The venue itself is gorgeous after a modern renovation it looks immaculate and we are so happy we chose here to have our special day. The guests all had an amazing day and commented on the food being outstanding which the chef allowed us to have input and put forward our ideas for the menu and we really appreciated this. The suite we stayed in was so spacious and up to a high standard and the guests rooms were equally as nice! Thank you so much for making our wedding day perfect and we will be back for our anniversary which is also a lovely gesture. We are so pleased with how smoothly the day ran and that was down to the efforts from the staff :)

Great place to stay. Stopped overnight with my greyhound. Staff so friendly to me as well as Mia. Ate outside in the gardens for evening meal. Would love the stay again Breakfast menu good, and staff happy to assist in packing the car on my departure, as well as assisting me on arrival. Ground floor room with access to the grounds perfect for the dog
Mytton fold is an amazing choice for your wedding venue! The staff, atmosphere, decor, food and grounds are fabulous. The staff couldn't do more to make our day run smoothly, including making sure our surprise band was concealed! The bridal suites and glam rooms for staying over are perfect and staff make sure everything is running smoothly before you go down to for the ceremony. There are even dog friendly rooms so your furry friends can come and celebrate the special day with you. We are so glad we chose mytton fold.

We stumbled upon Mytton fold after not having a very good wedding planning experience with another venue. From the moment we walked through the doors we were so welcomed and we knew this was the venue for us! Every time we visited all the staff knew who we were and made us feel at home! The whole team were amazing and couldn't have done enough throughout our wedding planning, even when I kept adding more and more (Happy wife happy life was our motto wasn't it Paris?! Ha). Our big day was perfect from start to finish, and was coordinated to a T! The canapes, wedding breakfast, carved barms and even breakfast the next morning was all amazing! All of our guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been to! And that is exactly what we wanted! I would highly recommend Mytton fold for your wedding, you won't be disappointed ?

After searching high and low for the perfect wedding venue, we are so glad that we picked Mytton Fold to host our wedding reception! Right from the word go, they helped us to plan the perfect day. Nothing was too much trouble! We had a small, intimate wedding and our reception was held in the Ribble Suite which was perfect for the number of guests we had. The venue also has some beautiful grounds which we got to enjoy throughout the day and it allowed for some beautiful photographs. The food was incredible and so many of the guests said how much they enjoyed the food. The staff who helped us have the perfect day deserve a shout-out. Paris helped us with all the planning, endless questions and settled any worries about the day going even slightly wrong. Elizabeth and Lisa helped us on the day to ensure everything went to plan. From making sure I had my favourite drink behind the bar, all the decorations were in place and making sure we had everything we needed throughout the day. All of the staff at Mytton Fold are of a top quality and we cannot thank them enough. All the guests have since told us about how much fun they had on the day and that would not have been possible without the help of Mytton Fold and it’s staff! We cannot recommend them enough!

This hotel is a hidden gem that I quite literally stumbled across this place. The room was lovely, clean and the bed was super comfy. All the staff without exception were fantastic and they were super with my dogs. My dogs loved all the treats . We had Sunday lunch which was super. Thank you

Went here on a works golf day, 26 people in total, the golf side of things was fine (except the rain). The package we booked contained 27 holes of golf (very good), lunch and evening meal. Now here is were the problems started, my 4 ball was the last group out, so we came in roughly 40 minutes after the first 4 ball and expected to sit down to sandwiches and chips as agreed when the package was booked, what we came into was 3 sandwiches and a half bowl of cold chips, we then asked for more sandwiches and the bar man said what was already out was all we could have, so we asked to speak to the manager. This young man (manager) came out with a scale of full aggression towards us, he stated that our colleagues had eaten more than they were entitled to, so we should blame them for being to greedy. One of my colleagues stated that only 4 bowls of chips had been supplied, and that is not enough to feed 26 people to which the manager stated "what would you know about catering", he also then told one of my colleagues that he did not like his body language, so after roughly 10 minutes of this so called manger blaming everyone else but himself, he eventually and begrudgingly said he would get us a plate of sandwiches which you could see clearly he was not happy about. So, back out to our afternoon round of golf, again, fine. We returned to the club house/hotel after our 18 holes of golf for our evening meal and immediately felt unwelcome, the same manager stated that he wanted to start our evening meal, even though some of our group had still not arrived, so we explained that we wanted to sit in the restaurant as a group (as agreed when booked), he then stated that he had booked other people into the restaurant that night, so the meal was eventually served when we all sat down in the restaurant together, I think it must have been fast food because the minute your plate was empty they were removed by the waitresses who were clearly under instructions to get us out of the restaurant as fast as possible. All in all, what should have been a good days experience was soured by this bitter little man, who quite clearly does not comprehend the saying "customer service" or lack of it on his behalf. And just for the record, our group consisted of 26 prison officers, so we understand body language and how to speak to people.
