We stopped here on the way back home from Blackpool and so glad we did.Firstly, the welcome and service was lovely; friendly and professional, they made sure that everything was as we wanted it.Everyone was satisfied from age 9 to 75!Thanks for everything guys ?Vegetarian options: Halloumi fish and chips with mushy peas and bread and butter - crispy and tasty ?

Thoroughly recommend this really friendly relaxed clean place ! Christmas lunch - a plate full of deliciousness! Leigh served us and was a top girl who couldn’t do enough to make your visit really special - thank you travelled from Southport as friends rated it - did not disappoint ?

Would not recommend, the staff was ignorant, dirty and unprofessional. The food wasn’t cooked to our liking and when we complained the manager kicked off and made us feel unwelcome. Which ruined our night. Utterly disgraceful !!!
Great pub, we popped in on our way to the football at Preston. Very friendly, very welcoming, great beer.

Visited on Sunday for a roast and I will absolutely be going again! Service was brilliant, our server Leigh was attentive and friendly. The food itself was delicious, best roast I'd had in ages. Starters were lovely and kids menu had very generous portions.

Such a lovely pub, and really good service but unfortunately the food wasn't up to scratch. Rump steak gristly, some undercooked (although they happily rectified the undercooked pieces) and the corner edges of the lasagna were burnt (the size of lasagne was disappointing for the price, just as well we ordered a side portion of chips!). The pub wasn't busy so they weren't under pressure. Just a very disappointing visit overall.
