too noisy... more bar than restaurant. we had wanted a quiet birthday celebration after the sad passing of a family member. not the place to have chosen to be but hey-ho we were all slightly older than the rest of the clientele. they were certainly enjoying their drinks!

We had the lamb meal \\u0026 we were somewhat disappointed with the amount of meat. Initially we didn't think it was there, but low \\u0026 behold there it was a disc shaped piece of meat. Not VFM at all.

Wow - The afternoon tea here is amazing. Lovely location, fabulous decor, attentive and efficient service and the quality of food is absolutely top class. Highly recommend for afternoon tea, it's definitely worth a visit. Nice to go for a walk down the promenade afterwards to walk off the cream scones and cakes. Will definitely return soon.

Great surrounding, great food. Can be seen as expensive but the food is spot on. Well presented and tasty. Been here numerous times whilst staying at the hotel. Never had a bad meal.\\n\\nStaff are friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.
