Worse place I have ever ordered from. £36 for something a 5 year old could of cook better. Service was disgusting, thought they knew better and stood argueing with each other. food was so bland. Hair in the rice. It tasted old and clearly been cooked in an old dirty pan. Please save your money and don't risk eating here.

No reflection on authentic Chinese cuisine . The sweet & Sour special was watery it was bland & lacked basic ingredients the takeaway is clearly cutting corners to save money . The meal was not fit for animal consumption. It’s questionable about the hygiene standards noting the condition of the aged interior which requires complete renovation . There is one other review that highlights concerns about hygiene . There are much better take sways in st Anne’s offering much better quality food and a lot cheaper . Not recommended.

We love to order crispy shredded beef and salt and pepper chips. Our kids favourite food from there is chicken satay on skewers and banana fritters. It’s a lovely family business and the staff are always very pleasant.

Spring rolls contained 1 prawn and a tiny piece of chicken, undercooked, would not go here again, prices are high content low, just a full roll of beansprouts!!

Ordered 2 curries 2 rice portions and some starters.The sweet and sour chicken was vile, 4 pieces of chickens and loads of onions and green peppers. The chicken curry was watery.I telephoned to complain about the food and the family was arguing with me saying I’m lying about the food.I will never order from Heng Yun again!!!

We ordered chicken curry, beef curry and salt and pepper munch box. The munch box was ok…. The curries were awful. The consistency was terrible, it felt like jelly and didn’t have much taste at all. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Was a little apprehensive after seeing some ofvthe reviews, but as I was only around the corner I would try it. Ordered Kung po King Prawns, SF Rice (large) so extra £1. Singapore Vermicelli. Every was hot and very tasty, vermicelli was nice and spicy. All very nice, but, the rice was on the small size, hate to see the normal size, and only 6 or 7 prawns. Vermicelli was a good size. So the downside was only portion size. Will try another t/o next just to compare size.

Unfortunately our food wasn't what we hoped for. The sweet & sour sauce was lukewarm and the texture was like jelly.The taste was extremely disappointing, that we didn't even eat the rest. The portion of rice was small. We have attached the picture of what we mean by the jelly like "sauce"

Small amount of rice and the sweet and sour sauce has a jelly like consistently. Paid £20 and haven't taken more than a bite.I recommend making and cooking your sauce rather than heating up package bought sauce.
