Pleasant lunch, friendly service. Not many people in so the atmosphere lacked a little, however that made for the quick service.

Two of us went for Sunday lunch. High quality food, beautifully cooked. The Roast Beef was delicious (an extra slice would have made it even better!) and the vedge were all perfectly cooked. The Cauliflower cheese was particularly great. The Fruit crumble and custard was gorgeous, but be a lot less mean with the fab custard! You need more than a thimble full to really appreciate it? Service was attentive and freindly?

Another long lunch last week, good food and great service again. Weirdly this place doesn’t sell tomato juice … I mean how can you make a bloody mary without tom juice ….

I recently visited lytham house to make use of the 50% off deal in January. Since my last visit the service and food has only gotten better and exceeded my expectations. I definitely would recommend.

Poor. Entertaining a number of business clients in private dining room. Took 30 minutes from arrival for staff to bother to bring the drinks order and that was only when someone went to chase them and found the staff chatting to friends. The food was another hour. Food reasonable but not great and none of it worth the money. Reflected badly on our business to take clients there. Would not return.

The food here is amazing, we came for a meal here and it was so good we booked for the following night! A beautiful, bar and restaurant, with ambiance and decor to a very high standard.

We had such a lovely evening at Lytham House- i feel it’s really important to share! We have been to The Ship and the Queens countless times and always enjoy ourselves but this was our first visit to Lytham House. I booked a table for my daughters special birthday- there were 9 of us and we enjoyed drinks in the bar, before heading through to the restaurant. We had 2 lovely booths and the atmosphere was lovely. Staff were so friendly and obliging- making sure we were all happy with our choices etc… The live music was fantastic- Aiden Grimshaw and James Edgar- what talents. This, along with the amazing food made the evening really special for us. We all had quite a range of starters and mains from the menu and everything we had was spot on, lovely quality and served with a smile. Our drinks were fabulous and all in all we couldn't have had a lovelier evening. Thank you to the manager and the attentive staff - we will definitely be back!

We were here for a very expensive Christmas dinner.Due to a misunderstanding we had to eat our dinner in the bar around a high table. They were unable to seat us in the restaurant. The food was average at best, the service was not good.I expected more for £80 per head plus drinks.I will not be returning.

We had heard great things from many people about previous visits to Lytham House. Attended yesterday for dinner and noted 50% reduction on food. Both of us came away very disappointed re the general standard of the food!! Starters of Duck Parfait and Baked Scallops were very small and just apppeared to lack any care in preparation. The two main dishes (i) Cod with White Bean Cassoulet- tiny piece of fish on top of a tasteless soup -very poor I'm afraid (ii) Beef Stroganoff- Pale grey mass of food( microwave) with an average lime and herb rice. I struggle to understand a kitchen with a previous good reputation could produce this standard of food. Most worrying comment (really scary) was from my wife to say that I could have produced better food!!

We visited for the first time where all our food was discounted 50%.There seemed to be no drop in quality or quantity as the people we were with are frequent diners.I chose Soup of the day accompanied by a warm sourdough roll whilst the others chose pattie. We had a varied main course choice,Beef Stroganoff Fish and Chips,Chicken Supreme and Fish Pie.We had 2 Strawberry and Apple Crumbles and Sticky Toffee Pudding followed by Tea and Coffee. The service was excellent and attentive and the ambiance charming. We will be back and would recommend it to anyone who wants to eat in Lytham.Parking: Parking is only available on the street although with a two minute walk there is a paying car park.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible ground floor with toilet ,but no lift to the upstairs. Plenty of room downstairs but book and say what you need.
