I live 25 mins away and just called in on a spare of the moment. What a fantastic bar, great music (the owner/manager) had some great tunes going on. People of all ages. Beautiful building.

The bartender wasn't very interested in strangers. Seems to be a pub for locals only. Nobody spoke, even though football was going on. It was a very sad mood. Beer was alright.

Every time I visit the number 15 I meet people I don't know and I have a good chat and laugh it's the best place to be if you want to make friends, I came on Saturday on my piaggio three wheeler bike,the 80 mile trip is always worth it all the staff are friendly BILLY from maulds meaburn Cumbria xÈ
