So disappointed that the service was lacking as stunning venue and was really looking forward to our visit. We opted for the Meze but only 1 side plate was available yet restaurant nearly empty. I had to eat my food direct from sharing platter. It’s unbelievable isn’t it! Why on earth somebody couldn’t just go and handwash another plate for me I’ll never know. I suggest that they go shopping for some more plates asap. Also food not thrilling, too much salad in meze could have included dolmades and stifado for example for the price charged. Staff pleasant enough but seemed inexperienced. Won’t be returning I’m afraid!

Good food let down by poor service We booked as a group and paid a deposit. The service initially was fine taking drinks then food order but then there was no service for the rest of the meal, we had to get up and find a server to come over when we wanted a drink. Also, one of our meals did not turn up, they had to cook it and it came when everyone else had finished - they did take it off the bill but that’s not the point. When the bill came, the deposit we had paid had not initially been taken off and after all the above they had added a service charge on to the bill. For me the issue stemmed from having many different staff serving the whole restaurant rather than one person allocated to look after the table. Unfortunately won’t return after the service today.

We visited here today following a recommendstion as the place in Lytham we usually visit had no tables. Having been welcomed in with the dog I found the place to be both spotlessly clean, with lovely decor, and very welcoming. Faye looked after us from arrival to leaving and was an absolute gem - really going to extra step to make us feel welcome. She was attentive whilst not crossing the line to being over-attentive. We went for the Sunday lunch and were not disappointed - the beef, whilst not pink, tasted as tender as any pink beef I’ve ever had. The veg was also delicious and the Yorkshire pudding was a good size. It was great to be in a restaurant where you didn’t feel you needed to order (and pay for) extra veg to feel contentedly full. Even the horseradish is worth mentioning as it was creamy and plentiful. A genuine recommendation - for the food, the cleanliness and the lovely welcoming staff (and clearly talented chefs !). We will be back.

This was our second NYE visit, and once again, we had a superb hour of food, drinks and excellent service. Cut-glass water glasses - with ice and lemon - is a nice touch; so easy to provide and yet rarely seen. My party would like to give a special thanks to our server, Kelcey. Polite and very professional with an air of quiet ability! She was a breath of fresh air with non of the usual, "No Worries..." that you hear from untrained staff. She projected the Olive Tree Brasserie's level of customer service to us all. Well done!

Well I have to say I did have it out with the manager and told him how bad it was and said I woudgo on social media bit I spent bear on100 pound for a crap experience so here's how it was so you don't get stung after reading some of the other reviews I think its right to let people know before wasting there time and money ,got there with the wife on a nice December evening and ordered a glass of red wine each ,we were served bye a young lad who gave is our drinks who was very polite and welcoming he said he had only been there a couple of months but went out of his way to make us feel welcome, nice wine awell, then the manager came over and said you can't order food at the bar until you have a table number ,ok I said can we have another wine to take to table which the young lad said I'll bring them over ,I said don't worry there's no hurry I'll wait ,the manager hurried us to a table next to a big table of eight people noisy drunk lot enjoying themselves which is fine but we are an older couple out for a quiet meal and there was only 3 full tables the place was empty lol ,stick us with the noisy lot ,anyway starters comes out missing one dish off scallops, they arrived after we said 10 minutes later ,there were 3 small scallops prise 14 quid lol ,shoudof bothered ,garlic mushrooms were not garlic mushrooms as no garlic I could taste ,my wife's salad had old flowery tasting tomatoes not fresh ,and my Mexican chicken in a mushroom sauce and rice tasted so bland and chicken over cooked was eatable but no way it was Mexican it tasted like a tesco microwave meal to be fair I eat half of it as I only had abit of toast that day and was hungry,I told the manager I was very disappointed with it all he said thanks for tge feedback, I said you should up your game here it's a nice place ,to be fair the young lad behind the bar could manage that place with good results as he knew how to treat people, but I'm sorry I won't be back as too pricey for an absolute disappointment which is a shame as such a good looking place to go .

The strawberry gin drink was delicious and the signature beef dish was very tasty with well-cooked vegetables, was a good afternoon out.

Seated promptly as the restaurant was empty when we arrived early evening. We were given a range of menu’s. We selected the goats cheese and the falafel. They arrived promptly but barely warm. The server recommended the festive menu, turkey kebabs, cranberry, stuffing balls, pigs in blankets and roast potatoes. Very disappointed with the whole meal. Overseasoned to the point of being salty, potatoes rewarmed, dry stuffing ball, salty pigs in blankets. I managed the kebab only with the aid of the cranberry sauce. Side of vegetables yet again seasoned to death. I let the server know my thoughts. He jokingly said that he would ‘slap the chef’. Coffee and the glass of beer we ordered were good. When given the bill I was asked to complete a survey. The festive menu wasn’t even on it. Which I again pointed this out to our server. He said just put that you had ‘a sausage roll’ and shot off to another table. Beware that the service charge is already on the Bill which wasn’t mentioned when it was presented to us.

Called in for lunch and didnt initially notice how cold it was in the restaurant, it was only really after we ordered we started to feel it. We ordered a mixed grill for two which was excellent, venue really smart and staff efficient and friendly. We would have stayed for a dessert but by this time the cold was really starting to bite, we noticed several other customers well wrapped up in an effort to keep warm. The final insult was a service charge on the bill, not only do the owners expect me to pay the staffs wages but sit in the freezing cold for the privilege. The owners should be embarrassed people were dining in here wearing hats and coats, shame full and does not deserve business.

Good food simple but well done.Staff could be taught a bit more on the dishes and wines available this would help with the whole experience in my opinion but lovely nevertheless.

It was a bit quiet & a bit cool, but we were made very welcome on a dreary November evening. We shared dolmades & garlic flatbread starters. I then had the vegan kebab which was lovely. Also had draught lager which arrived in a glass from the freezer, nice touch. Knocked 1 star off for adding service charge to the bill, felt awkward asking to removing it so paid it. Will know for next time as I'll definitely be back ? thanks to Megan & Laura.

Lovely food as usual . The cocktails are amazing well made the raspberry rush is the best . My only gripe is that I had asked for a table in the restaurant but we were outside which is covered . Even though there are lots of heaters on a November evening it was somewhat chilly . I had clearly specified when I booked that I required a table inside . I did ask to be moved but told there were no available tables such a shame as it did put a bit of a dampener on the evening

Visited OT at Lytham today for a lunch for my birthday. It's the first time my wife and I have visited this branch of OT, although we had been to the Preston branch quite often, before it closed down. We were immediately impressed by how nice it was inside and how attentive the staff were. Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 course lunch....not enough room for desserts, the food was great, much better than I remember it at Preston, and the portions were very generous. The manager, Faye, runs a very efficient and organised team, we would like to thank the staff for such lovely service. I had a query with my Olive Tree VIP card, as it hadn't been used for some time, and Faye quickly resolved the issue. We would not hesitate to pay another visit, safe in the knowledge that we would be met with the same standard of service as we received today.
