It was very busy but staff were apologetic as we waited quite some time. The food was okay but the Pizzas overpriced. The thin and crispy Margarita was not as good as my local at £4.50. One granddaughter had spaghetti carbonara and the portion was quite small and wouldnt have filled an adult even though both granddaughters ate from the adult menu. I was astounded at the prices of everything! It was a treat for myself and my granddaughters so I didn't want to object to desserts but they were £7.95. I would suggest getting the bill whilst sitting at the table as I paid at the till adding on £10 but could have already had a service charge added on which I would have seen. Total bill £102.

I have to say what a fantastic team at this pizza express in lytham, we took our grandchildren in today, and our 3 year old granddaughter was really tired and hungry and very very cranky!! All the staff were absolutely brilliant with us, we would have struggled without their help as we had our Grandson with us who is autistic , but he was a little superstar!The staff made sure the food was cooled down enough for the children, and made sure everything was perfect for us, we can't thank them enough! Well done to all the staff!

Really good customer service and the food was great!Never been asked if we want black pepper in all the time we’ve visited any pizza express up and down the country, also brought garlic and chilli oil to the table which doesn’t normally happen.The two ladies looking after us were really tentative and made the experience a pleasure.Thank you pizza express

Fancied something other than the usual so decided on a Pizza and in fairness Pizza Express are one of my favourite. We had the dog with us so sat outside, shame they don't make the best of the space as it could be a lovely place to sit by choice rather than just because you have a dog with you. The pizzas were gorgeous and well cooked as they can sometimes arrived with burnt edges and base. I had the Reine which comes with mushrooms, ham and olives, and I always go for the Romana style, thinner and crispier. My wife had the pizza were they removed the centre and fill it with salad. She enjoyed her pizza apart from the strange taste which we later put down to the garlic oil they pour on unless you tell them otherwise (which we forgot to) Overall a very enjoyable meal, expensive for pizza but we always use our Tesco vouchers, we'd probably go elsewhere if they stop accepting them
Bad experience from start to finish. We visited as a family and ordered from the children's menu they did not want a starter so we ordered main and dessert . We were not told that to not order a starter should make the food more expensive and not the 7.75 per the children's set menu .When our food came o my carbonara had parmesan cheese on the top -we had not been asked if we wanted this, we did not mention this but let it go as normally they offer if you would like this seasoning. When we received the bill it was more than expected as it had itemised the children's main and dessert individually resulting in a higher priced bill. I spoke to a older lady who had no customer service whatsoever. She told us it was because we didn't have the dough balls with the children's menu ,we explained we hadn't been told this. As far as customer service goes it is non existent. The fact it had not been explained which the male waiter acknowledged and apologised he hadn't informed us you would of thought that the senior older lady would of waivered this due to us not being aware. The restaurant was very empty and this now on hindsight should of been a sign to avoid. My daughter said she would leave a review regarding this and another lady said she could give us the dough balls to take with us. As stated above we didn't want the starter , we wanted the children's menu price which was displayed per the leaflet given and no mention of not having the starter effecting this offer. We are local so they have lost repeat custom and word of mouth will clearly not be positive.

Ate at a table outside on a rare sunny day, as we had our dog with us. Nipped in for menus and our server, Natasha popped out to take our order. We were impressed! Very friendly and so knowledgeable about the menu and toppings on the pizzas. Asked her name as wanted to leave a review about what a great server she was - thank you ?
