“First visit to The Taps. Lovely pub. Excellent selection of cask ales from the likes of Robinsons, Hawkshead Brewery and Greene King.Very friendly welcome and the beer garden was a nice place to have a couple of pints.Highly recommended.”

“Girls trip away for 17. Great party venue for a get together, very spacious, great pub food and the staff were efficient and demonstrated great customer care in looking after us as such a large and noisy party. Perfect to stay for the full evening as you can dine, wine and dance until after midnight. We are a mixed age group from 30’s to late 60’s and it suited everyone. Great outdoor area for quieter chats and a bit of air. Prices of food and drink are very reasonable and good value for money. We requested a table close to the band but it was very loud being at the same level and alongside them, so take this into consideration and maybe dine and chat earlier so you can just dance the night away. The covered outdoor area was perfect to use intermittently for this but I would suggest turning the music much lower or off outdoors would give people chance to chat and to relax. Recommended for a group get together and thank you to the lovely young lady and her team who looked after us so well.”

“Great place for large party luncheons and celebrations. Lovely interior with spaces for groups, big outdoor area with artificial grass and plenty of seating. Staff were very accommodating, efficient and friendly. .Service was excellent and swift, all of our food was hot and tasty. Great Sunday roast menu and very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend”
