It’s been rather nice going into ship and royal and taps in lytham but more so ship and royal, food served by the bold really shiney head… chef sorry I don’t remember his name but food was fab and quick the bar staff are great too I had a few missed busses (intentional don’t tell the wife) but while there felt like family everyone happy nobody complains, while waiting for my bus which is situated outside, you only hear good comments about the place they are a lovely bunch of ppl and makes leaving work (missing bus) oops worth it.Well done team “SHIP N ROYAL”Thanks ste smith

Been in ship and royal most of week after Xmas and New year. Staff are still first class and no drop in service. Kim is always positive polite and chatty when it's possible . I never have to wait as observation skills are brilliant . Great pub down to the staff. 5stars for Kim. Great pub! Very relaxed atmosphere and was a fab place for the pups to have a quiet corner to sleep off a little walk along the sea front. Good vegan options a big bonus. We recommend and will definitely be calling in again ???

Kim behind the bar is fantastic. A 5 star character. Energy abounds from her, and efficiency is 1st rate for a busy tourist town Central location pub.Onset of winter and the heating is on, so comfortable.I can't rate the food so a 4 star from me.

Lovely atmosphere, very central and dog friendly! Thoroughly recommend the pulled pork tacos but less so the mango and lime chicken tacos as the hot sauce was far too overpowering even for a spice lover.

Slow to serve food. Waited 45 minutes for 2 roasts and a kids meal. Beef was like shoe leather, cauliflower hadn’t seen cheese since it was driven past a dairy farm. Typical chain pup fair. Place is clean, well presented, looks understaffed as per anywhere paying minimum wage. Shame as it’s a reasonably sized venue and is probably heaving in the summer months when the weather is good.
My Dad, brother and I went for lunch yesterday. We are visiting from Canada. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient both at the bar and also the lady who brought the food to the table. Everything was served hot, generous portions, & tasted great. Prices were very reasonable. Thank you!

Booked a table with the family to watch football, the two ladies that booked us in were amazing. Staff are so friendly, food was amazing. Kids played pool and watched the game. Great atmosphere, really family friendly.Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

Booked a table for 4 for food. At 7pm the bar was already really busy. served at the bar quickly. The lads serving us were helpful and friendly. food arrived in good time and was hot & tasty. 2 sharing starters. 2 gammon steak, 1 katsu curry, 1 hunters chicken. 4 desserts Drinks.The bill was very reasonable about £20 a head.There was a small issue about the music being very loud in the room where food was being served/eaten which was resolved. Due to that I've awarded 4 stars. We would go back and now we know the bar is likely to be really busy.

Amazing place, I had an 18th birthday party here the staff couldn’t do enough to help to make it the best birthday, Sarah and the team are always attentive and do it with a smile on their faces even when they are busy nothing was too much trouble, thank you for an amazing time the food was amazing too, I highly recommend the beef Sunday lunch or the cheese and bacon burger.
