We were wary of visiting, having read a few recent negative reviews, but were very pleasantly surprised. Just as good as ever, great value small portion meal deal (and it wasn't that small, to be honest, a very generous small portion!). And outstanding professional and friendly service from Ben. Thank you - we will be back!

We took advantage of the lovely weather and drove out from South Ribble to Lytham for a chippy tea. Seniors has been in our experience a mixed bag, sometimes good and sometimes poor. Years ago it was always exceptional but standards have definitely slipped. Tonight I went in, there were two people in front of me. The wait was pretty unacceptable to be fair, I was ignored for around ten minutes before being asked if I wanted fish, which I did. To be fair the person in front of me had a fairly large order. Eventually I was served by an extremely unfriendly person who only spoke to ask me if I wanted S&V, and walked out over half an hour after arriving. We took our food to eat on the front near Fairhaven lake. The chips were ok but the fish was dripping with grease, so much so that my wife left hers. At £20 for two fish and chips it was way overpriced for the quality. The past few visits have been disappointing to be fair, they seem to be trading on their reputation. They need to up their game because nobody will accept expensive poor quality food with unfriendly service. It certainly seems that since Covid many businesses think customers will accept poor quality food coupled with poor service at high prices. I doubt we’ll make the 1.5 hr round trip again. There are much better and less expensive chippies near me to visit.

Strange curry sauce also, oh and exceptionally expensive. £24 for 2 meals and one kids menu Disappointing, usual example of poor British greed I'm afraid. Have been here a few times and its been pretty good but this time it was far from that

Went on Sunday at approximately 12.30pm for takeaway lunch. I only wanted 2 portions of chips with salt and vinegar, a portion of peas and a portion of spicy curry. After waiting 25 minutes for the order, it was packaged up and I left to eat elsewhere. When I opened up the package, the chips were soggy with no sign of salt and vinegar, a portion of peas and no sign of any curry. Totally disgusting and went straight in the bin. Overpriced rubbish….paid £9.85 for most of it to go in the bin. Will not go there again.

We waited over half an hour after we got our pots of tea and bread and despite asking two or three time where our order was the excuse was "waiting for chips".When our order came,our tea was cold and apart from the fish,the peas and chips were luke warm so definitely weren't freshly cooked chips.Very disappointed and although the waitress apologised as we paid we were still charged full price for a very below standard plate of food.

Excellent service and extremely good value for money ,high quality food at exceptional prices ,you may have to queue but be patient as the wait is worthwhile.

I would like to thank Ellen the manager of the Lytham store. I ordered a large personalise Easter egg online but the message on it was incorrect. I rang Ellen up explaining the situation and she asked me to drop it off with her in store. Changing the whole message she did amazing especially during bank holiday busy times. Thank you again

I asked for chips and gravy and he said 4.15p so I double asked the price , chips bit soggy and gravy odd lump , chips and gravy in Preston better quality and between 2.40 and 3 quid tops , silly price 4.15p and if they where 3 quid I would there JUST possible fir the price 3 quid 5 out of 20, 4.15p 1 out of 10

We have had takeaway fish, chips and peas three times from Seniors in the last 6 months. Very good each time. As it stands, my family's favourite fish and chips in either Lytham or Preston.
My son bought almost £60 worth of fish chips beans peas and gravy on christmas eve for 6 people, when he returned home with the order 3 x peas were missing we tried ringing to say that they weren't in the order but went to message service. Since then I have rung a further two times to speak to someone and no one answers so it goes to the messages but no-one has bothered to ring me back. I think its appalling that no one has bothered to contact me. Three lots of peas might not be important to them but its disgusting no one returns calls.

My husband and myself decided to have a bus ride to lytham today. When it got to lunch time we decided to go to Seniors. We both had the small meal deal. We had ample food. Everything was cooked fresh and was piping hot. The young lad that served us was lovely. We will definitely return.

I would have liked to leave a review for my visit today but this is not possible. Website and Opening Hours on door stated open until 5pm but at 4.20pm they had already closed the doors. Won't bother trying to visit in the future.

My wife, not a big eater at the best of times, and I thoroughly enjoyed the £8 Hake meal deal. Very lightly battered and beautifully white fish, chips and mushy peas good portions for the money. Could I suggest taking the temperature of the the coffee machine up a little, the coffee soon cools down. Young staff were excellent and attentive, clearing tables quickly etc . Having visited many times in the past no complaints at all.

Visited with a friend. Fish, chips and mushy peas, served piping hot, tasted delicious. The young lady who served us also offered to refill our teapot because the weather outside was horrendous. Lovely customer service. Definitely recommend.
