Moved here in last 6 months, great chippy usually, but since Xmas portions small, large fish thin and dry, haven't seen usual staff. Disappointing. Better on Fridays. Maybe mid week scimping

This was my first visitAnd all I can say is wow,Best fish and chips in agesIf you want the best, go now.Inside and out was spotlessFrom home just under a mile,Meal was ready in no timeStaff greeted me with a smile.Happy to recommend ?10/10

Several fish and chip shops in St Annes are closed on a Monday so, as we were visiting on a Monday, needed to find an alternative to our usual. This was a great find, fantastically clean premises and helpful staff. Both fish and chips were delicious, with lovely light crispy batter on the fish. Will definitely return.
The best in the area for fish & chips, the batter on the fish is fantastic. The shop is clean & the staff are lovely & they look smart, be prepared to queue but that’s the sign of a good fish & chip shop. Enjoy ?

Good food and at one time prompt and efficient service. Now food is as good but the service and waiting times are nothing short of scandalous! On my last 4 occassions there having already pre-ordered my food 40 minutes before. I was still expected to wait a further 20 minutes in the shop. This whislt Taxi drivers and "favourite customers" were served in short order. I understand that if they are busy or have received a large number of orders then thats good for them. BUT they should let people who can be bothered to come into the shop that there will be a prolonged wait and they can then decide to wait,come back later or not. You should not take the money and say nothing! So my advice is to wait to see if anyone is actually in the shop BEFORE you go in and even then there is no guarantee that they will claim they have a previous order which needs attending to first! Such a shame but people will start to avoid here due to this unfortunate and comparatively recent severe drop in standards.
