Not really a dine in restaurant, more emphasis put on takeaway side. Toilets upstairs in store room not pleasant

Me and my partner tried Maya tonight for the first time and wow the food was amazing! We shared Sag-Banjara, Madras and Maya Spicy Aloo. I really loved the fact it was SPICY (real heat!) and full of flavour . All I can say is that Maya has now replaced our usual Indian take away. The chefs definitely have some knowledge and passion when it comes to cooking. 10/10 would eat there again!P.sIf you look at the previous 1 star reviews you will see that the customer has left many many bad reviews for other establishments and makes me belief that this is actually a fake review.

Stay away from this place , not only did they try not giving my change £2.70 not much granted but I was on the phone at the time so he could sense distracted and he kept my change , clicked on when finished my call and said something o him , he wasn't happy at all with me like it was my fault cheeky as if you ask me , from that he went straight into kitchen and didn't come out till food was ready , got home to all samosa badly burnt and 4 small pieces of chicken in my madrass obviously on done on purpose lol , I have eaten all over the UK and that has to be the worse I have ever been treated by a restaurant , pluses the madrass is absolutely terrible not touched it as it was like water and completely wrong colour, disgusting food and even worse how they treated me and spoke to meSTAY WELL AWAY FROM MAYAUpdate absolutely nothing from them about what they did apart from the reply,Absolutely disgusting place everyone needs to stay well.away from the maya , food is absolutely terrible and the way they treat customers is down right disgusting,WORST INDIAN I HAVE EVER HAD

My father and I had our weekly takeaway delivered by Maya yesterday evening. The Chicken Madrases were delicious, as ever, and the service impeccable.

Great takeaway. Tried lots of Indian in the past but this is the best ever the flavours are so authentic and the portions are generous, lots of chicken and lamb in ours not packed out with veg and sauce. Delicious.

I've been coming here for years. I was told they lost there drinks licence. Since then things have changed for the worse. I was here with 9 friends I had booked table for 10 on a Saturday night. the service was slow food was good. Upstairs which was a big seating area is now just a jumble of tables and chairs unused. Not many tables downstairs I get the feeling it's now a takeaway with a few tables. instead of a restaurant that also did takeaways. lots of orders were going out with just eat and the like. It's a shame
