Just had a very pleasant evening in the best pub in Poulton by far. Great, friendly atmosphere sat in front of a real fire warming my cockles drinking their own brewed beer.

Proper pub in Poulton, say that after 10 pints!Nothing else to say - quality boozer, great staff. Could do with a better selection of draught ciders but that's it.

This pub, for me, is the hub of Poulton. Although I live in Thornton this is my go to pub. Great location, up to ten real ales on offer, all in great nick and friendly, knowledgeable bar staff. All of which is a credit to themselves and, of course, Neil.

Was offered best seats in house to watch Blackpool promotion game by Neil Swift (landlord) without having booked prior. Exceptional staff and thoroughly enjoyed afternoon with my son. Despite restrictions, this pub showed that things are getting back to normal. Highly recommended and fantastic landlord. I live mostly in London & there is not the same atmosphere in the Capital at the pubs I frequent. The moment I walk through the door and I am shown to my seat by friendly staff, 'my usual' is on it's way, with much reduced price than London.The best referee in a football game is not noticed but always there, the same for the staff in this establishment, the moment you finish your drink, they appear. So many places at the moment, you have to wait or awkwardly place your hand up for service.I cannot recommend this pub, landlord or staff enough ?
