Stumbled across The Lunchbox whilst killing time waiting for a train. I’m so pleased I did. Very extensive menu which took me a while to choose from because it all sounded good. Lovely bunch of happy ladies and my prawn roll was made to perfection. Plenty of prawns, plenty of salad and nice soft bread. Once opened on the train I was pleased to see that all of the packaging was recyclable as well - added bonus. It was on a cardboard plate, with serviette in a paper bag. Couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you. If I’m ever back in the area, I will return!

Ordered to work today for my birthday. The food was so fresh and absolutely beautiful ? Fantastic, friendly service and delivered on time. Enjoyed by all! Will definitely be ordering again in the near future ?

Ordered a cheese salad sandwich with cucumber, onions, tomatoes, lettuce and mayo and when I opened it at home, between the bun (that didn't feel particularly soft or fresh) was a laughably small amount of cheese and just a mountain of wet grated carrot ?Went straight in the bin.Definitely would avoid this place and go to Crumpets instead.

The quality of the ingredients is extremely poor, cheap tuna, and cubes of chicken in a horrible spicy Coronation sauce. A tuna and cheese melt, and a Coronation chicken sandwich with salad costing £9.00 ......not good value at all ...

Please see my other reviews to learn I am a 5 star reviewer and not a negative person.Wandered in five minutes to closing and ordered two salad boxes. The lady seemed very frustrated with the timing explaining how she had to get everything out "AGAIN" because she had put it all away. This made us feel like we were an inconvenience so went elsewhere (no food was wasted)I get everyone has their bad days and maybe we caught them at a bad time so will not blacklist this place and give them another try where I can hopefully edit this review to a five star.We visited on the 10th of may at about 14:55.

Always good quality breakfast and lunchtime take out food. Called in today for chicken/salad barmcakes, a chicken salad box and a half jacket potato with cheese. The staff are very friendly and happy to chat. I was given hot, fresh chicken and the lady serving me was really accommodating to changes to my order. All food was delicious, fresh and plentiful. The whole order including a drink came to £11. I’d highly recommend The Lunchbox for breakfast and lunch. No indoor seating, it’s takeout only, but this place is always busy.

First time of pre ordering salad boxes for a picnic in the park to celebrate a friends birthday. Plus a last minute add on to the order of a panini which was no trouble.Wowzers!!! What exceptional value for money!Mine contained no less than 3 rashes of bacon plus lots of rotisserie chicken. Really generous portions plus very fresh and tasty.Great customer service from all the lovely girls who work there. We will definitely be back!
