Dined and enjoyed beverage refreshments several times here,. The quality of intake as well as the service at a very reasonable prices makes me keep coming back for more. Also The New Penny of Poulton Now operates as a Greek restaurant in the evenings from Wednesday to Saturday. My wife and I together with one of our daughters and her fiance had a fab Greek meze meal followed by two of the most traditional Greek desserts, baklava and kataifi accompanied by a free ouzo shot and a couple of Mythos beer we've purchased from the Greek beverages list, we ❤️ed it and we are certainky going back for more there. Highly recommended, quite flexy as well since you can choose any of the four evenings they operate for the Greek menu, Wednesday to Saturday ????Highly recommended!!! ????????

Food good.. it was very busy on our visit but the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. My 'go to' place in Poulton.

Really disappointing breakfast . Tasteless sausage , fatty bacon , no tomato or mushrooms , cheap white bread for toast. 23 pounds wasted won’t be back !!

Fantastic service, great breakfast. The tall bearded young man was incredibly well mannered and a shining example of how to present.

Terrible service too many staff talking in the back room or walking around not doing much of anything .Waited for 20 minutes before anyone asked us for our order , when the order eventually came asked for some butter for my scone I’m still waiting . Far nicer welcoming places in poulton .

Just here today (monday) for breakfast. Extremely disappointed, it was nearly lunchtime and food etc had been re- heated, awful. Pleasant staff but not enough of them.

Quite honestly disgusted. I visited today in the afternoon and it was very busy. This doesn't bother me apart from the fact that there is no space to queue so we end up blocking the paths. While queuing the person in front of us asked for raspberry and strawberry sorbet in a tub. The server only gives them raspberry and when she is corrected she scoops some raspberry out and places it back into it's original container despite it being handled. We also saw the lady drop a scoop of ice cream into a different container before scooping it back up and handing it to a customer. What if the customer had been allergic to the other ice cream that his had come into contact with? When it came to our turn we witnessed the fact that the server did not clean the scoops between each flavor. Does the shop not know about cross contamination?Overall the service was lack luster and the hygiene appalling. I am aware they're understaffed but really they should provide a better experience considering the price.

This is without a doubt one of the best places in Poulton for breakfast! The service and atmosphere is highly welcoming, with the décor enhancing the warm friendly feeling throughout. Both the breakfast waffles and pancakes are awesome and will leave you craving for them again.Food and drink is presented to an amazing standard, while also at a very good cost of the quality and quantity served.

Delicious ice creams to take away. Lots of flavours to choose from. We chose Amaretto & Black Cherry and a Mint Chocolate chip. Both really nice, lovely cones. Well worth a visit. Best ice creams in Poulton ?

The fish finger sandwich was a disappointment. The fish was nice but didn't cover much of the bread. I also didn't like the pesto being added.

Absolutely delicious, fresh food, golden yolks and top quality breakfast with wonderful attentive and kind service from the lady working there. Way above expectation and looking forward to going back!

The best place to eat breakfast in Poulton. Just had Turkish eggs which was new on the menu. Amazing! Two poached eggs, a spiced yoghurt, smashed avocado served on a pita. Definitely having that again

Visited on a Sunday afternoon. As expected big queue for their delicious ice creams. Enjoyed snack in cafe, very good. Very pleasant staff. Definitely would visit again. Nice choice on menu , including daily specials. Competitive prices.

Came in for a late lunch with my dad and husband. I ordered the eggs royale (eggs Benedict but with salmon as well), hubby ordered Turkish eggs (poached eggs with a spicy sauce, avocado and pitta bread) and dad ordered a chicken burger with chips and salad. Both the egg dishes were fantastic- runny yolk, fresh ingredients, hubby even wants the sauce bottled from his meal so he can get some for home! Dad couldn't fault the chicken burger, but the chips were the absolute highlight. They were fries not chips as such, crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside. He couldn't finish them! Dad had an aero mint milkshake which he enjoyed, husband had their house hot chocolate and was better than the one our local car bar sells! I had a pot of tea, which was very refreshing. Never been here despite living in the Fylde area ten years. So glad I did.
