The first time we went, we really enjoyed the food, but I had a prawn salad yesterday and didn't really enjoy it, all leaves with prawns and rosemary sauce, nothing else. My friend has a scone with jam and cream and really enjoyed it.

Three of us went to this charming tea room near St Chads Church. One of us had already been to the tea room before and it was their suggestion to go. I cannot say a bad word against the business and would like to go for an evening meal next time I'm in the area.Dietary restrictions: Also in our party of three one of us was gluten free and dairy free, which they accommodated brilliantly. Just outstanding! When this opened, I thought, ‘why does Poulton need another cafe?’. How wrong I was. This is just incredible. Everything I have had from there is absolutely fantastic quality - the toasties are out of this world! The soup is always lovely. The iced coffee are fantastic too. They even made an omelette for my daughter who is 18 months and she loved it. Nothing is too much trouble. In short - top quality food, great service - what more could you want?

Excellent food. I had soup and a sandwich. Well presented. Soup was hot right to the bottom of the dish. Ham sandwich with mustard mayo. Nice quality ham. Venue was full...always a good sign. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Will definitely return here.

Nice place to chill out with a coffee and cake or have a late breakfast professionally presented after 10. Shame they are not open at the weekend but it makes a treat during the week. The staff are friendly and helpful.
