We had a lovely meal on SundayWe both had garlic bread for starters then turkey roast .. I had lemon tart my friend had ice cream everything was delicious and big portion sizes.. we loved the decor and everything was spotlessly clean and we will visit again very soon thank you for out meal

We have been here a few times, and it has always been great. We usually recommend this place to everybody. On the occasion, the waitress was completely run off her feet, and she kept apologising to us. starters were cold. It was 25 minutes before the mains actually arrived and we were given the incorrect food so they had to go back and it was a further 20 minutes before we received our food which was bland qnd tasteless. We then cancelled the dessert. The atmosphere was stressful, people complaining, waiters, and waitresses running around. We did asked to speak to a manager, but we were told that the manager was unavailable. After reading the reviews on here, it seems that management has changed, and unfortunately we will not be returning.

Food still frozen and was told my meal could only be 're heated and not replaced as there was no more beef , was not offered an alternative meal , even though my meal had ( apparently been 're heated it still came back half frozen and barely warm , Gordon Ramsay would have fainted!.

Great place to visit. It was busy, but we were able to get a table and the service was very good. Great menu and choice and the food was delicious. Not too long a wait between courses and the staff were very efficient. We will definitely be going back again. Highly recommend.
A proper country pub with welcoming staff and lovely food. The homemade pie had beautiful filling, light pastry, and fluffy mash; an absolute Friday treat!
