Terribly disappointed and out of pocket £37, loyal and long-standing customer lost. My husband and I have been ordering from Amalfi for a good while now but more recently we've had a few issues with poor quality food and late delivery, very late often. Tonight was unfortunately one too many and I won't be ordering again, chips were incredibly salty and not warm in the slightest, I ordered livers and ribs for a change, livers were overcooked and in low supply, most of the dish was sauce and onions hardly any liver, ribs were horrific, worst ribs I've ever had, the sauce was overpowering and sweet, the meet was pretty poor and I had more sauce, bone and fat, I was left very disappointed and hungry after this meal. Additionally when ordering we asked up front the wait time, were told up to 40 minutes, as it was late we ordered based on this info, it then took 1 hour 30 minutes to arrive, 9:37pm it arrived, who wants to eat at that time of night. Overall too many issues and no consistency anymore, I'm afraid you've lost a regular customer.

We are regular customers of Amalfi Restaurant; the food is always exceptional and you can tell it is cooked with love and care. The staff are so lovely and warm, and delivery is usually early with excellent communication. The prices are very reasonable and the food always authentic. First and last time having food from this place. Worst tasting Carbonara ever with a very strange taste. 4 dishes and only 1 person liked their meal. Put me off carbonara for life.

First time we got takeaway from here my tiramisu had a black hair in it. When I complained on Facebook I got no response. This time my husband ordered without me knowing and I’ve never tasted such bland food! Mushrooms in basically water with stilton chunks, garlic bread was stiff like one you’d get from Asda and the carbonara tasted like condensed milk, completely tasteless. Such a shame
Ordered at about 7.15pm with a wait time of 55 minutes for delivery. At the time of delivery the app then jumped to 8.56 as an approximate time of arrival. After several calls with the only explanation of "they were busy and can't control how many orders come through at one time". Told then that it could take 2 hours. On my final call after being told we were next in line for delivery I was advised that they were just waiting for the driver to return and then they would "start" cooking our order!! Finally arrived 9.35. The delivery driver was very apologetic, but unfortunately this is not the first time this has happened to us from this takeaway. The food is excellent, but I would advise anybody ordering from them to just go and collect it, or you could be waiting all night. By the time the food arrived we were all past hungry and it spoilt our evening.

Ordered 2 margarita pizzas, a lemon Fanta and Dr Pepper. The pizzas both arrived very burned and instead of the two soft drinks we received two cans of beer - which were given to my 14 year old sister without any question. We called to request fresh pizzas and when the delivery driver brought them he said that he told the restaurant the pizzas were burned but they said to send them anyway. Extremely poor service on the restaurants end trying to see what you can get away with when your customers are spending their hard earned money in this climate.

Havnt eaten here in 12 months, fancied a change. Ordered at 6.45pm, 8pm phoned in to be told there busy. 8.45 still havnt started the order. 9pm cancelled the order and went to Leos instead. Now i remember why i stopped using these guys. Lesson learned.

Dont use just eat phone the shop or go on their website its cheaper.REVIEW IS NOW OUT OF DATE AS THE BUSINESS HAS BEEN SOLD TO THE MISERABLE LOOKING ITALIAN GUY THAT IS NOW THERE.FOOD NOT AS GOOD AS BEFORE.. THEY DONT EVEN HAVE A MENU ON DISPLAY IN THE SHOP.NOW NOT RECOMMENDED
