Bakeries in Preston

“We stayed at The Priory B&B to accomodate us for a friend's wedding at a nearby venue. We had not managed our time realistically and a taxi to the wedding venue would have made us arrive later than we hoped. Janice, who I'm assuming is the owner, kindly drove us to the wedding venue. It was lovely to stay in such a beautiful setting with a genuinely caring person running the place. To top it off, our room was clean and warm with a comfortable king size bed. Our breakfasts were also cooked to perfection with friendly and attentive staff within earshot. My wife and I are very pleased with our stay at The Priory and will highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking to visit the area.”

“Gregg's is Gregg's, best sausage rolls and the sausage, bean and cheese melts are amazing.Had it a few times where I've ordered an extra sausage in my roll in the morning and they don't give it or had bits of bacon that probably wouldn't even be 1 rasher but let's be honest, its more than you will ever get at Costa or subway and a hell of a lot cheaper”

“Small store but packed full of dry, fresh & frozen foods as well as many non foods. Great selection of beers and spirits and always great deals to be had. Staff here are all fantastic and friendly. Only 4 stars as the post office counter is closed half days Wednesday. As a local business sending parcels, this is a real inconvenience. Otherwise a great convenience store.”

“One of my favourite chains in all of England, and this one in particular is fantastic. Favourite savoury items are the vegan sausage roll and the wedges. The wedges have to be the best wedges I've ever tasted, they're usually a pretty medicore food option and it was only by chance that I tried, and then loved them. The best desert option is the Belgian bun - a glorious treat. The prices are unbelievable for what you get. I now fully comprehend why Greggs has a culture following in the UK and I'll be in debt to this land forever for providing me with such a flavourful experience. The name Greggs is a little weird for a takeaway joint, but whoever Gregg was, they were a genius.”

“We regularly use Stockport Traders Market and always buy some pies. That's one of the reasons we go!”
