“Popped into Happy Bunnies and had a lovely meal of jacket potato with cheese and lamb kebab with flat bread. The cakes are outstanding and a must. Very reasonably priced and very quick service.Parking is either on the library across the road or behind the shops. Parking on the Spar is only 20 minutes and for Spar customers same with the Ram pub car park next door.”

“You can get books, coffee and ice cream from here as well as a few other things. I used to love the salads here but they are gone so now I either have a ham or tuna sandwich with salad and crisps. Both are good but I would rather have a pot of mayo or aioli with the tuna sandwich than chutney. The coffee is really nice as is the ice cream. WiFi password is long and difficult so never use but I suppose that is laziness on my part. It’s always busy and staff are friendly but not a lot of competition for a quick bite or drink. I rate 4 out of 5 and would give 5 if they brought the amazing salads back.”

“We stayed at The Priory B&B to accomodate us for a friend's wedding at a nearby venue. We had not managed our time realistically and a taxi to the wedding venue would have made us arrive later than we hoped. Janice, who I'm assuming is the owner, kindly drove us to the wedding venue. It was lovely to stay in such a beautiful setting with a genuinely caring person running the place. To top it off, our room was clean and warm with a comfortable king size bed. Our breakfasts were also cooked to perfection with friendly and attentive staff within earshot. My wife and I are very pleased with our stay at The Priory and will highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking to visit the area.”

“Delicious Cantonese food.Shrimp was cooked perfectly in the sweat and sour sauce. There was plenty of sweat and sour sauce to have with the good portion of rice. The green beans with garlic and pork mince had great umami taste. The pork belly was cooked great too with very nice crispiness on top. Good service from the staff as well.”

“I wasn't expecting to find a craft beer bar under the Blackpool Road railway bridge yet here we are. Friendly, chatty, affordable; a truly great addition to Lane Ends.”

“Great place! Centrally located, pleasant courtyard to sit in and friendly, efficient staff. We were there for a lunchtime works outing so it was quiet but I can imagine a lively atmosphere on an evening.I thought the menu seemed a little limited and most in the group had pizza, which they enjoyed and benefited from the lunchtime price deal. I had the kebabs from the full menu and with a soft drink this was over £20 but they were great, really full of flavour, and I would have again.I'm going to visit again shortly as I'd like to see it on an evening. But highly recommended nonetheless.”
