I'm American. This place does barbeque right. The service was great. We enjoyed our visit.Update: We enjoyed Hickory so much we went back again! The food was delicious and reminded me of home. The service was excellent! Can't recommend this place enough!

I have being visiting Hickory's in Chester and Colwyn Bay for years and have always enjoyed the food there so I was overjoyed when they announced one 15 minutes from my house. I wasn't disappointed either as the food and atmosphere here is great. I recently visited for my Birthday with friends and got the pork platter, It was delicious and they even brought me a birthday donut which was a welcome suprise. I always make sure I get the Grape Soda regardless of what food I order and it's always lovely. It's good value for the quality of food you get and the servers are always super friendly.Kid-friendliness: There's a cinema playing kids films!Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible

First visit, car park bays seem designed for smaller cars, very tight.Seated straight away with pre booking via website, staff polite, waitress Hope is an asset to the place, lovely friendly.Table for two by window, nice and clean with staff maintaining areaPig slider - Not enough pork, but very tasty, onion rings slide order over cooked and hard.Mac n cheese - very tasty, side order of garlic buttered mushrooms very nice but £5.50 bit excessive.Drinks - Triple choc milkshake, very very good cherry creme soda nice big glass very refreshing.Same standard as Southport
