Great Bistro experience. We've been to Scott's a number of times now and today was for Mothers' Day. The food choices and quality of the food were excellent as witnessed by the sets of empty plates left at the end of each course?Parking: Limited free parking is available just outside the restaurant.

Went here for a Sunday family meal. There was 8 of us including a two year old and a disabled 34 year old. What can I say… it was the best meal out I’ve probably had in years. All the food was home made even down to the chicken nuggets which were amazing. The Sunday lunch was spot on with an option of meats to choose from. The staff were lovely and attentive! And the selection of drinks was second to none! Including the alcohol free options!!! Cannot wait to return. Thank you so much for a lovely afternoon!

I normally love going to the bistro and go there regularly. However i asked if they could make a birthday cake with Happy Birthday ....... on your .... birthday. I was told that was no problem. However they served up a very small cake from a local supermarket with just a few candles stuck in. No personnal message and very obviously a bought in cake which cost much less than i was charged. I am particularly upset by the dishonesty, i was led to believe that this cake would be made by the Bistro with the personnal message. I now have doubts about a restaurant which i had so such high regard.

Although we have been numerous times, we are constantly surprised by the menu. It always improves, and last night was exceptional. Started with a shared camembert, had the Turbot for main which was out of this world and finished with a cheeky Bailey Crem brulee. Fantastic night with fantastic food.

Stopped off here on way home from the Lake District. Service was spot on. We ordered 3 different Sunday Roasts. Chicken, vegetarian and a Beef plus a Cauliflower cheese to share. All spot on and the plates hardly needed cleaning after we had finished - all cooked to perfection and was yummy. Had a few puddings too - all very nice. Highly recommend this place.Vegetarian options: Lovely Sunday roast option.

A lovely meal in a small but very comfortable location. The service was superb and the food was excellent. We will definitely visit again.Kid-friendliness: Good children's menu to choose from at reasonable prices. Also provided sheets to entertain them during the boring adult speak.
