“One of, if not THE BEST fish and chip shops I've ever been to. Still pretty cheap considering inflation, chips have a nice extra crisp to 'em, dunno what kind of oil they're using, or if they fry them multiple times, whatever they're doing, they're doing it right. Location is a bit out of the way, 20 minutes uphill walk from the station, so I'd recommend taking the bus. The other 2 chip shops in town don't seem to have the best reviews, but I'd definitely suggest this one if you have the time, and a spare £4 for the bus fare.”

“Freshly cooked fish and chips to order. Large portions at very good prices. Can't fault the quality and value of the food. Difficult to rate the atmosphere as I was the only customer in the shop - and I'm a miserable bastard at the best of times ? Nothing to do with the staff or premises - both are excellent.

“Delicious fresh fish and chips wrapped in paper. No trays or boxes just wrapped in paper like every chippy used to be. Good mushy peas too.Parking: Every street near by seems to be double yellow lines.”
