I placed an order this evening and it cost me £52.70.My chicken foo young and chicken chow mein and the chicken in my fried rice were not cooked properly. Some bits were cooked and some were pink and not cooked.My family and I only discovered nearly half way threw our meal.I rang Sunflower and explained that half the chicken was undercooked. I did ask for a refund but because I paid by cash I couldn't get one. They did offer a replacement next time I ordered of the dishes that weren't cooked.I'm not sure whether I will be ordering from here again????After not ordering from here since my last experience I thought I would give Sunflower Chinese another go as up until that point I hadn't experienced any problems.So tonight I rang and explained that I was told that the chicken chow mein and the chicken foo young would be replaced next time I ordered, I didn't even ask for the chicken fried rice to be replaced. I was willing ng to pay for that as well as a few other dishes.The lady who answered the phone was lovely but when she went back and told whoever that The chicken foo young and chicken chow mein were to replaced for free it was disgusting. I could hear them arguing between themselves in Chinese. Then the lady came back and said I'd put a photo of the uncooked food on this website, which I hadn't. I did explain that I did put a review on a quite a few weeks ago but I was willing to give Sunflower Chinese another chance. All I heard was a man/woman shouting something in Chinese to the lady I spoke to who obviously was Chinese or spoke it as well. She came back and said the same thing about they weren't happy about a photo, which I hadn't put and obviously the review.To be honest they could of redeemed themselves tonight as I have ordered from them for years. Like I told the lady who answered the phone tonight, Just forget it, I was really really disappointed with their response as too be honest they could of resolved it by accepting responsibility and apologizing and not arguing.They obviously do read the reports. So hopefully they will read this one and hopefully learn from it.

I got a happy box B and it was thrown into a pizza box, the ribs must have been days old, the salt n pepper chicken was dry and full of veins, the chips were raw, the sauce may as well have been a bottle of vinegar,Wouldn't recommend to anybody and I certainly won't be going back there,Feel ill

Went especially from afar to pick up a takeaway (used to live nearby and go often) and they were closed, on a Thursday, and it said open online and on the door. Won't bother again.

Just ordered food from Sunflower, started eating only for my partner to find a long black hair in her food ? ? customer service was shocking, offered me a refund on noodles or 10% discount next order ? won't be ordering again, in fairness to them, they did offer me a full refund if the hair had of been found before it was put on a plate and eaten some of it, there is half noodles, half rice, half special curry and half Thai green curry unsure of any more hair, if anyone would like it, unfortunately collection only oh and some opened prawn crackers. Left food went in the bin, never again will we eat from there

I use to love chips and curry and the special curry from sunflower for 35 years, but the curry has changed so much, we was so disappointed the curry sauce has changed so much, chips and curry was really dry , and the special curry, no taste but was hot, nothing like what we use to order, very disappointed

Disappointed with this visit. Lad on the counter could hardly speak English and managed to mess up 3 simple dishes. Be a while before we use them again

The food was tasty, although some dishes were bit salty. They finished the food really really quickly. We ordered 4 dishes by phone, got there 10 minutes later and everything was ready. Large portion. Good prices. The lady at the counter was very friendly and smiling all the time (not something you usually experience at takeaways). Recommended :)

Ordered the Special Chow Mein and Special Fried Rice. Delivered within 10 minutes of ordering, piping hot, loads of meat, the best Chinese takeaway i've ever had. Since ordering from The Sunflower for the last 3 years, never had a bad meal. Hats off! Credit where credit is due. ??

Food turned up cold and overcooked also wrong order rang to sort and had every excuse unde the sun and then forgot how to argue in English after speaking fluent English while I was speaking my case will not be ordering again 50 pound order and no refund food dry absolute joke
