Beautifully clean restaurant with very friendly staff. We eat there regularly and have always been very satisfied. ?

This is the best fish and chips - eating in - on the planet. We have never had takeaway here, so we can not comment. Those who enjoy a proper chip butty will be especially pleased. Two slices of bread, full size, (uncut) and a generous amount of butter at room temperature. That's why we keep coming back.

Stopped off after a movie at the Flower Bowl cinema. Staff very kindly said we weren't too late, even though it was after 7 and they close at half past. The food and service were excellent. The menu is very helpfully laid out with veggie, vegan and GF options. I loved the cheese and onion pie. My wife had sausage and chips, which came with mushy peas and a generous jug of gravy. As others have mentioned, payment is card only.If this review was helpful, please kindly give it a like.Vegetarian options: Menu very helpfully set out with specific vegetarian section. I had cheese and onion pie.Parking: Lots of free on-site parking.

Great place, pleasant & polite staff and good food.Place is card only, hence the loss of stars. Makes me think management doesn't trust the staff with cash?

As a group of mostly senior, mainly handicapped, group we visited this restaurant recently to dine on their fish and chips.Although the food was excellent, hot and well served. The servers carried out their role as well as could be expected considering the seating arrangements,The big drawback was the fact that we were all squashed together in 3 rows of tables with hardly room to move between the rows when empty, and NO chance of moving down them when we were seated!Considering that many of our group have trouble walking it was a shame. The clue is in out group name, which l will not mention but includes DISABLED within the title! If a toilet break was needed half of a row had to move to allow that person out!To add insult to injury we, the customers, had to hand meals along the centre row of tables to diners in the middle of the group.Furthermore there was plenty of space within the room to separate the rows of tables to allow easy access by diners and servers to enable them to carry out their role correctly. All in all. Food - very good, Servers - very good. Seating, for our group, let them down.⭐️⭐️⭐️ only.

Possibly the best fish and chips I have ever had. Even going so far as to included dedicated menus for vegetarian and gluten intolerant needs.

We had our son’s birthday meal there last night with 12 teenagers and 5 adults. The staff were welcoming, attentive and the food was great. The staff helped set up the table with a balloon and brought out the birthday cakes for us including a knife and napkins. Nothing was too much trouble. We were really pleased with how the night ran- no issues at all. Thank you to the staff :)

Fish was very nice but the chips were tasteless, all crispy and no centres. In my humble opinion they were using the wrong verity of potatoes. Too much moisture in the potato.

We visited to use crazy golf and bowling and got hungry. Sadly there was no options to eat whilst bowling so decided to eat in the oceans, decided on 4oz fish & chips and a fishfinger sandwich. Service was good, the restaurant was quiet and food was served quickly. The portion was a decent size in my opinion. But I was just disappointed with the fish, I expected fresh fish but it was in my opinion frozen and had an aftertaste, it was chewy and just unpleasant. I left it I found it not to my taste. The fishfinger sandwich looked massive but was mainly all batter and not much fish. Not the worst meal but nit the best, there is a fish and chippy just down the road which is hands down a better experience

Had a chip butty, the chips were perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Kids had sausage and chips and all were thoroughly enjoyed.Dietary restrictions: Asked about allergies on arrival and brought a book to go through the dishes
