We decided to call for early tea after, with it been half term for a treat. We have been before and was good... My 2 daughters especially were looking forward to it as it was a curry Wednesday. Was busy as lots of tables were reserved. Kids decided to have a korma as well did i,and husband get a mixed grill. Went to bar over heard person in front complaining to friend they dont have anything. Our turn no Korma available. So I chose, tikka kids had burger, husbands was available. They said they had run out drinks glasses. No big problem that though. Got knifes ect brought had to wipe knives as wasn't totally clean. Then food brought to table, tikka was brought in a soup bowl, have had before so was strange, My tikka was just tepid. Husbands gammon was well over cooked. I know they might have busy. But I won't be rushing back.

A great place to eat and drink. Eat here often and they have a deal on everyday . Food is very good and large portions that are good value for money it has a good selection of food and drinks. Staff really friendly. Nice outside area and play area for the kids. Would recommend ?

This is my second visit to this restaurant. The first time was a couple of months ago and I really enjoyed my visit do I decided to return with my son and family. The first issue was as soon as I walked into the bar to order and pay for food, looked at me and then walked away! No "I'll just be a moment" nothing! She did return after a few minutes and took our order ok. The second issue was that as it was a lovely day we wanted to dine outside.. only there were no numbers on the tables so waiting on staff were just shouting out numbers and no one know who's food was being served! The third issue was that the waitress asked us if we needed anything else, drinks etc... my son asked for ketchup and Mayonaise. The waitress looked at him like he'd spoken in a foreign language, disappeared and didn't bring the condiments. We ended up leaving our meal to go and find them! Overall though the food was very good and affordable. I probably would give them another chance.

I was told there was no fish available only to watch four obvious locals ( Addressed by name on entry) successfully order fish. Had to go with my second choice which came with cold fries. Leave it to the locals they deserve it.
The food was good and nothing to complain about with that. The service is going down hill slightly, probably due to staff unsure of their future. This venue will be changing hands next month so will see if it's as good a value for money place as Iron Horse.

Very hot and lovely food. Staff super efficient and friendly. Just a side note. Sitting in the garden and a few young lads were playing footy. It's quite a small area and parents should really watch their kids

Food was good. They didnt have the main option we wanted for some reason it was off the menu online. It was busy so we waited a bit longer for food. Used blue light card too for 20% off. We'll be back.

Went in as we’d just returned from travelling and neither of us wanted to cook. I ordered the roast chicken which was overcooked. It listed green beans and sage and onion stuffing to be served with all roasts. When we queried about it he checked, came back with two horseradish sauce (my partner had ordered the beef) and walked away. My partner managed to grab his attention before he’d gone too far, queried the stuffing again only to be told they didn’t have any. We won’t be back in a hurry

Nice place to grab a bite to eat. Dog friendly. Ample free parking. We sat outside on a sunny day, a little windy at the front by the road but quiet enough to feel relaxed.Food is typical pub food, fast, cheap and cheerful. We took advantage of the two mains for £10.99 which was perfect sized for lunch.
