Great pizzas, good prices and service. Watch football and have a drink. Hot drinks served as well. Good choice at the bar.

So, we booked a Father’s Day meal here. After we had been before and found it fantastic! Tonight, if in Frank, was a comedy of errors. We turned up - no one to greet us. Someone who didn’t work in the restaurant had to find someone. We were then taken to our seat and the menus we were given were on scrappy pieces of a4, which had clearly been used all day. No drinks menu at all, despite asking. Then we realised the menu was very limited and asked if they served pizza as there was none on the menu. Told there were no pizzas on offer, however I explained it was a pizza restaurant. Then told we could only have pizza after half 5 (it was 5:28). Begrudgingly given a pizza menu then! The view of the area we were looking at was a bit of a mess. Barely anyone in, so no atmosphere and the staff needed training. A smile would have gone a long way as the girl who served us was making us anxious and kept wanting to take the order straight away.We decided to eat elsewhere and just had drinks. I certainly wouldn’t recommend this place and won’t be returning. Senior management need to consider their training process for service staff. I certainly don’t blame them. It lies with them.

If people see Poolfoot farm and no connection to football teams then they might think this is just a sports facility and Fleetwoodds training ground, however it is so much more. Once visited you will want to go back, Food and Service are excellent. The Pizzas are some of the best around and the Sunday lunch is an absolute must

Gone hugely down hill. Been a relatively regular visitor to Poolfoot ever since it opened. Sometimes to watch my daughter play football and others just to have some food and drink in the sports bar area. Always been really good food offering, decent staff and a pleasant environment to watch some live sport on the various big screens. On visiting last night was suprised to see the menu now consists of just pizza, nothing else. Coffee machine wasnt working so was directed twards the vending machine in the reception area. Fair few teenagers using the place to hang around, not buying any food or drink. Their language and behaviour wasnt great but none of the staff chose to say or do anything about it. Ive given it a 2 star as the pizza was alright to be fair. However this place has deteriorated a lot and we wont be going back. I genuinely hope they will up their game as used to enjoy it here.

My sons were playing football last Sunday so we were looking forward to sitting in the nicely done café with a coffee and where my daughter could do her homework and have something to eat. Firstly we were told the whole site is now cash less, even the coffee machines !! which i think is really unhelpful, but under the guise of "its covid friendly" its what a lot of businesses now find convenient. Then we were told the cafe had no coffee as the machine was broken so everyone had to queue at the coffee vending machine for an age !!. Then my daughter said she couldn't do her homework because there was no wifi, I asked at the bar and the lad told me it was broken !! ( or turned off ), I'm not sure as a cafe on a Sunday morning what your offering really ???

Had to order drinks and food at the bar. Not usually a problem unless you are greeted with a person who had a bad attitude! Put it down to her having a bad day even though it wasn’t busy! Ordered starter and main. We waited and waited patiently only for the whole lot to arrive together - really? Ordered baked creamy mushrooms which came without the grilled ciabatta. Lamb kofta arrived minus the lemon, red cabbage and pomegranate salad (did have iceberg lettuce though). Baked chicken Alfredo- never an oven. Wasn’t baked. The creamy mushroom and parsley sauce was runny. As for the 8 hour roasted topside prime beef…. It was tough and leather like. Just chewed chewed and chewed some more. The crispy roast potatoes were not crispy - microwaved? Creamed mashed potatoes were bone dry and not creamy. Giant home made Yorkshire pudding was mediocre and soggy. Came without parsnips as advertised. Not usually one for complaining but the service and food was shocking.

I only gave a 3 because the food was nice. Went with my son and daughter-in-law for tea walked in and if your not a local or a young person (barley legal) I wouldn’t bother. The food was nice though, but the service was terrible young waitress’s that are so rude. Maybe the owners should have a look at who they employ because I can honestly say I have never experienced service like it.

Such a shame, thought that this was going to be an enjoyable lunch on a wet Bank Holiday but the pizza and dough balls were, frankly, terrible. As the restaurant purports to be an Italian pizza restaurant you would expect that this aspect of the meal to be spot on. I don't even think the dough balls had been cooked, they were cold, heavy and quite unlike anything I had ever eaten; don't think that Pizza Express will loose any sleep over the competition! We sent them back and asked for them to be reheated; still cold and undercooked when re presented. The pizza was just as bad but couldn't be bothered to send back. The service was attentive and the waitress very helpful. Won't be returning.

The food was beautiful and the staff couldn't do enough for us. The setting is quite stylish and you can tell that a lot of money has been spent to give this restaurant the edge on local competitors.. Would definately encourage you to try this one out, as you won't be disappointed!

It was so nice to get out after lockdown. Went for tea on the pitch side terrace. The welcome and service was great. The pint of Moreti was superb on a lovely sunny day just what was needed. We had Fish and chips and the Chicken pasta dish. Both nice, fresh and served hot. Couldn't fault the place and will definitely be back. Well done Poolfoot farm.???
