The starters were of a good standard but unfortunately the mains was extremely bland and uninspiring. Service was slow (45 minutes to order a drink) 95 minutes after arrival to get our mains.

Reason I've down rated this restaurant was it was good till a load of people came in from the pub unbooked there were 10 of them no room but instead of being told to come back or no room waiter pushed two tables of four together for ten people this was coursing space problem and one of the parties was so loud his big mouth never stop clearly showing off to impress spoilt the rest of are great night over feeling is dangerous and made it hard to serve fo waiters sorry but be wear they will over fill for money even when some of parties are clearly drunk sorry but we wanted nice meal not football match we a big gob fan impressing his younger mrs or lady friend

We moved to Barlestone just a week ago and decided to give Daawat a go. The food was absolutely delicious and for the price we decided that it was probably one of the best Indian restaurants that we have ordered from. My tandoori mixed grill was to die for. PLEASE give them a try. You won't be disappointed!

This local Indian restaurant is quite simply spectacular. Hidden away in a small village, it deserves to be visited by people from miles around ! The interior is clean, warm and welcoming, staff are exceptional in care and customer service, whilst the food is quite simply divine. I am not a regular Indian food eater, but this place could convert me ! When you factor in two main meals, two generous sides, a bottle of water and 2 poppadoms for UNDER 40 pounds for quality of this calibre...gobsmacked.Parking: Three bays out the front.

Best curry I have ever eaten and the freshly cooked poppadoms which were still warm when they arrived we're a perfect starter. I have never known Indian food to taste so delicious. A great price and kind, helpful staff. The only way this place could be improved was to update the bathrooms. Everything was extremely clean and the chairs were super comfy.Parking: About 10 spots and spaces to park on the road around the restaurant.
