I had the burger here and there were no problems at all. The food and service was great and very tasty. Recommend going here.

Great atmosphere for a business Xmas lunch! Service was efficient and extremely polite! Food was fantastic, arrived in a good time, presented well and tasted lovely, great value! Would recommend every time!

On Monday The White Horse were happy to take our Sunday lunch booking for 5 guests after we’d been let down by another venue cancelling in us. They said be there for 13.00 but we must give table up by 3pm. Due to weather, road issues we didn’t all get there until around 1.20 but the pub wasn’t fazed and set about serving an unrushed excellent 3 course meal. Great food and drinks, helpful friendly staff and although we didn’t get away until 3.30 they seemed quite happy. Everything was well managed. I’d be happy to recommend the pub for both drinks and meals and we’d love to go again on a better weather wise day.,

Really nice to visit the Horse again having previously lived down the road to remember our friend Marrk. The bar staff under the stewardship of Paul were second to none, polite , efficient and nothing to much trouble. The wake spread was very nice and was very enjoyable. Many thanks to Charlotte,Jim and Paul .

It is a beautiful location for dinner. Very friendly and accommodating. A perfect little village pub. The food is gorgeous and the staff lovely. Would certainly recommend.

A Great Sunday Lunch for a gathering of the family .9 of us met up for a Sunday lunch CHICKEN & CHORIZO CASSOULET for starters for 2 of us and soup, choice of beef ,lamb or pork for the roast but I had Peppercorn Chicken and was blow away with the taste, Sticky Toffee for after . Service was great and food was hot. The only complaint was I had to pay for the brother-in law.

Sunday lunch, great portions, food was hot, and delicious. Attentive staff, extra gravy but no additional charge, good parking and location. Large beer garden but too cold outside to use on this occasion.

We had a lovely first visit to the white horse today. Me and my boyfriend both had food off of the specials menu and both dishes were divine! Beautiful setting, very attentive staff and lovely homely atmosphere. Definitely coming back soon.
Very nice lunch here. Pleasant old pub in a secluded, canal-side setting, with lakes and walks just a few minutes away. Good value food, quick and courteous service. Lots of dogs to admire. Hard to beat!

We bike along the canal all the time, we stop at this pub everytime before we bike back home. This pub is situated right on the canal, which also looks over Watermead Park. The staff are always very friendly, great choice of drinks and their food is amazing. Nice big beer garden with a kids play area. Would definitely recommend

First time in ages, we got the kids together (and the dog) staff were excellent as was the food. Even the dog was given a doggy bag (With dog biscuits)
