“A well kept pub with a great outdoor space that’s set in a beautiful typical English village. The beer is always good whenever we’ve been here with a great selection that seems to change weekly. There’s always pork pie available and freshly made pizza every day apart from Monday. The staff are always friendly, and they allow well behaved dogs in too.”

“We were in Castle Donnington for our daughter’s wedding. Family started arriving the night before, so we needed to find somewhere to feed 19 people. The Nags Head said they could accommodate us so we booked.We didn’t expect to all be seated together, so when we arrived to find a large section reserved for us and tables arranged together we were so grateful and knew we had made the right choice.Our server (so sorry can’t remember her name) was friendly, attentive and efficient, a real credit to The Nags Head.Drinks were flowing, the food was fantastic and the atmosphere was fabulous.All the meals arrived together, hot and freshly prepared. Drinks arrived without delay.Thank you to the whole team for making the evening a huge success.Would definitely recommend The Nags Head and will certainly go back.”
