Just visiting the area and came across Ruby's Fish & Chip Shop. Fabulous F+C and such friendly and welcoming staff. The portions were exceedingly generous and the potato scallops were superb (fritters to some). The shop dates back decades and I was privileged to receive a short history lesson about Ruby's shop when I expressed interest. A most enjoyable experience which I hope to repeat in the future. I highly recommend Ruby's to you all.

We love Ruby’s Fish and Chip shop We visit often for 1 large Fish and Chips. It’s amazing value for money compared to other chips shops. The staff are always polite and efficient . They are quick in serving very organised Thoroughly recommend them. We travel a few miles from Shepshed. It’s well worth the effort

Great quality food and friendly staff. I visited ruby's chip shop at closing time (8.30) as I was driving around panicking try to find some food for my house after our just eat takeaway missed three orders off. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and let us order even though I turned up at closing time. They didn't have enough chips left to make a large chips but they gave us some free additional food, which I'm very grateful for. I don't know if anybody working there overheard me talking to my partner but we had had a really bad just eat takeaway from another company.Ruby's chip shop saved the night! Thank you very much, I will be back for moredelicious chips!

Fantastic chippy, best food in all of Leicestershire look forward to my weekly visit, staff are very friendly always happy and always smiling, I've been going to Ruby's for a few years and hopefully will be going for a few more years see you next week...try the cod roe very nice.
