Absolutely loved it here. The food was delicious with generous portions and Liv and Morgan were amazing hosts. (Thanks girls) They went above and beyond accommodating a party of four with a wheelchair. We will definitely visit again.

We came to the Donnington Arms as it's near my daughter's house. She has used this place a few times previously and has always left happy.Great staff, very accommodating... They have a lot of sweets and treats for children... Dog friendly very popular with the local villagersThey offer a huge selection of menu items (photos) and the portion sizes are great.. you really feel like you've had a good meal.Food was excellent, very fresh and tastyWe spent £65 total Inc drinks for 4 people so around £15 a head so fairly priced for the areaWe were really pleased all round yesterday and we will definitely be going back regularly.even though it's 28 miles from home it's worth the travel on special occasionsI missed the specials menu on the wall yesterday until after I'd ordered but they had a few good offers on it and the kebab & naan bread on the next table looked huge and great value for money. Can't wait to go back... ???

We were a Saturday evening walk-in as decided we couldn't be bothered to cook at the last minute. The bar staff were friendly and pleasant. We were seated as soon as our drinks were poured. The menu was good, not huge, which in a smaller pub like this gives confidence that what they have will be fresh and most likely good. We were not disappointed. There was a delay on the food, not sure why and we didn't mind to be fair. The food was lovely, the black and blue burger is perfect, a good burger with nice chunky salad. The salad was lovely, no dressing which is too often over applied and overwhelms the dish, please don't change that! The chips were good, crisp and not greasy, and very plentiful. We will be back, just got to decide if we come on steak night or pie night...

We live nearby and I'll admit should utilise the pub more! Nice garden to use in the summer, plenty of bar space for our dog with treats which are gratefully received! The carvery is lovely and very good value for money. We will be endeavouring to visit more often!

Fantastic local pub. It opened not long after we moved to the area. We visit frequently. With 2 young children I love the security of the enclosed play area. Kids love it there. Always a fantastic atmosphere and staff going above and beyond.Recently started going to bingo on a Monday with a few friends, always a great evening. We’re very lucky to have such a fantastic local.

Visited on a Sunday for the carvery and it was the best I’ve had in ages. My partner loved it too and so did my mother. My son’s favourite part was the lovely kids set up in the garden and of course the bouncy castle. Staff were all professional and they helped with my fussy eater son ? will definitely be coming back and highly recommended.Parking: Easy access to plenty of parking which offers access to front entrance and rear garden.Kid-friendliness: Staff were brilliant with my 3 year old son and he loved the kids park and bouncy castle

We go to the bingo every week and the staff and owners are lovely, the food is great and the atmosphere is always good. The owners clearly work very hard and do a lot for charities in the local area which is commendable considering how busy the pub usually is. The staff are a credit to them as well, always work and are cheerful and friendly. We are planning on coming to the Steak night and the Sunday carvery soon....Can't wait!!

Wonderful local pub. amazing local community work, including but not limited to:Charity days, where locals and regulars are heavily involved, sometimes volunteering and fundraisingCommunity eventsChristmas toy appealsand much much moreon top of that, food, drinks and staff are wonderful! Karl and family treat all staff with so much respect, training them, providing them with new skills and assisting with travel to and from work. the management team and landlord will never see a member of staff struggle!Hats off to all of the management team for turning this village staple around and providing an amazing place to be!
