We chose to have my grandads 88th birthday meal here last night with there being 22 of us. From arranging this directly with the team to our food everything was faultless. The food very very hot & tasty and portion size was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were very Friendly and helpful. This was our first visit and it won’t be our last as looking forward to visiting for a carvery!

Recommended this place by a friend due to a new chef being employed. Nicely decorated, tidy, clean with efficient, polite staff. First starters arrived swiftly after ordering. Pate and HOMEMADE melba toast and homemade soup. Carvery consisted of a generous selection of meats with various vegetables and Roast potatoes and help yourself Yorkshire Puddings. All food was piping hot and tasty. Recommend this little hidden jem to all. Definitely will be booking again..

We visited this restaurant for Sunday lunch which was beautiful. Great selection of starters and a choice of 3 meats plus dauphinois potatoes, roast potatoes, fabulous Yorkshire puddings and a great selection of vegetables and stuffing. What a wonderful treat to having to cook. Great food at a great price what fabulous value for money. Will certainly return.

After going this week for a local meal and beers. We were impressed. The portions is good. I had steak. Which the cut was perfect and no fat so could eat it all. The only downside is I asked for medium rare and it came out medium well. Didn't want to mention it as I didn't want them to have to cook another steak. Would definitely just be more cautious on that. But apart from that, it was lovely. We will be returning

Nice place, quality of food and how it's cooked was very good. Sirloin steak cooked to perfection and thick steak. Fish was lovely and chunky. The triple cooked chips were the best we,very had. Highly recommed this place.service and staff was lovely, nothing too much trouble. And the homemade bread and butter pudding was very tasty.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options availableParking: There is plenty of parking so no struggle to find a spaceWheelchair accessibility: Easy access up the ramp at main entrance, doors wide to accommodate easy access

Where do we begin about this tinpot unwelcoming place the food was excellent but that’s where it ends when a room has been booked for a wake for a very dear family member one would expect a bit of decorum from it’s members not here firstly outside having a smoke by the ash bin on the wall by the entrance constantly abused by bowlers entering the building very unwelcoming to the extent of being intimidating totally ruined the occasion for the close family I personally spent over £200 I know of several family who spent well over £100 must have have boosted the clubs coffers for a Monday night so to be abused by its members is very insulting I am seething typing this review the most negative review I have ever posted on tripadvisor but I feel that anyone considering booking this place for a function must be warned about the inconsiderate members this venue should not entertain gatherings with such unfriendly unwelcoming members and secondly make it clear as to the licensing hours of the venue not just refuse service for 10 people before 11 pm.

Lovely staff who are happy to help. I am disabled and booked for a Sunday carvery. The food was very good and my sticky toffee pudding was so light and delicious. My self and my friends have agreed to go back another time

We had the afternoon tea yesterday afternoon and it was delicious ? There was so much for the £20 we payed, 2 sandwiches, 2 sausage rolls, 2 scotch eggs, crisps, salad, fresh strawberries, 2 pieces of chocolate fudge cake, 2 HUGE pieces of Victoria sponge cake, 2 fruit scones. 2 little pots of jam, 2 little pots of thin cream and 2 little pots of clotted cream all beautifully presented in a cardboard hamper. I think the cake will last all over the easter weekend. Thank you so much Paul - it was amazing - well done ? We'll definitely be ordering again ? x

We are a group from Sport in Desford out for our Christmas meal. It was absolutely brilliant. Really friendly staff. But best of all the food was excellent. Great price to make it even better. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Congratulations The Orangery.

First time here. Very welcoming, friendly staff and great atmosphere. We had the lunch time set menu which was very good value. The food was delicious, well presented and hot. The chips were the best I have ever had when eating out. The service was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend a visit. We will definitely be back.
