Fantastic brunch. Allows dogs, great service, friendly staff and such a tasty menu. Would recommend the hummus, mushrooms and add the poached eggs. The coffee here is gorgeous and we loved the decor. Thoroughly recommend, thank you.

Was really disappointed with my takeout from here last week as usually it’s so nice but wanted to warn people to check takeout before they take away. I unfortunately didn’t check mine until I got back to work and the bread was burnt and didn’t taste great. I did call and they were really polite and said they would re do but I couldn’t get back in time as had to get back to work. He said the bread was meant to be burnt as it added to flavour but really didn’t work for me. Would always check in future

An exceedingly pleasant café with respectable good service, gorgeous food and a cosy environment.Me and my Family had booked a specials night at the Malt Mill Café and Bakery. The Café was situated down a nice row of businesses and houses with a bold and creative look to its appearance to it exterior.The interior of the café was cosy and pleasant with a nice choice of lighting, old café utensils, and a lovely smiles on all the staffs face which real does sets a positive view of the place.The food and drink were gorgeous with the special’s night being Italian themed. All the food was home-made and had a lot of time and thought put into it to make it taste so good. A fine selection of some Italian wines was on offer which me and my dad had one. It went down so well with the tasty appetisers, flavoursome beef, and the gorgeous home-made fresh baked pastry desserts.The staff were so kind and nice to talk to, they were helpful and guided you briefly though what’s on the menu, The menu for that special’s night were helpful and describe the type of food offer that night. Credits to the chef and serves, Paul, Donna and all glamorous assistants.Me and my family are certain to come again for your special night and we might also try your café menu as well as it sounds gorgeous.

Best English breakfast along with the best coffee in the area bar none. Really nice little quaint place in the middle of barwell. Decorated in an old school vibe with local historical pieces dotted around on pictures and pieces etc. Staff / owners are really friend and accommodating. Got this place spot on ? 10/10 will return.

Cakes, lunches, breakfasts, coffees, they do it all, and they do it well. Great atmosphere and décor. All in all, a very well run coffee shop. Would highly recommend.

Have seen posts from Malt Mill and always thought how lovely it looked. Came for the first time today to celebrate our parents 53rd wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. The food was quality as were the hot drinks. Friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond. We will definitely be back for cake! Thank you x

Just got home from Malt Mills Greek themed night, the beef stifado was lovely, the beef so tender it melted in the mouth, the onions took me back to Skiathos. My daughter said the orange and honey cafe was delightful as was the baklava. Great food , thank you so much Donna Paul and the team.?
