Food was amazing, came out well done and hot. Wait staff seem less bothered, forgetting certain instructions or requests. Wait staff look very young and do not understand CUSTOMER SERVICE. It was so bad that I had to our male waiter, if other waiters are allowed to clean up a table he served on...because 3 different female waitresses came past our table several times, looked at the empty plates and walked off without asking to collect them. Horrible customer service Afrikana Leicester!

I enjoyed it. Best lamb chops I have ever had. Well marinated and seasoning was 10/10. Jollof rice was not as good as home but way better than expected. Don't hate on the Jollof till you try it. I was suspicious at 1st but liked it. My friend ordered rice and peas but it was not giving authentic rice and peas. Salmon was a bigger portion than expected which is great. It felt a little overdone only a little. Salmon was seasoned well but potentially overseasoned. Salmon has such a beautiful natural taste and the seasoning which was really good took away from that but the Salmon was still nice regardless. My drinks were very sweet a bit too sweet for me. I was annoyed because I had those drinks before. Whoever made it last time made it way better but its ok. I had some mango mocktail and a Berry one.Overall great vibes. They played old and new school afrobeats which I loved and waiting staff were so lovely especially one of them. I wish I caught his name to give him his praise.

My girlfriend and I went to Afrikana for our first evening meal for our trip to Leicester.The staff who served us were so inviting and welcomed us warmly with brilliant and fast service.The food was absolutely fantastic we had the Grilled Salmon and the Island Fish and Chips, both arrived promptly and tasted lovely.My girlfriend is new to eating fish and she absolutely loved it! The portions were very good as we even had to get a takeaway box for the rest of the food.If you're in the area me and my partner would definitely recommend it.Vegetarian options: They're a wide variety of choices and adequate replacements for meat options.
