Sophie was very helpful and friendly on 19th March 2024. I wanted to have some lunch and with the vegetarian options, I couldn't find anything healthy. So I told Sophie that I would just have mac n cheese. She said to me, ' You don't have have something you don't want to. She later asked me what I wanted and she went an extra mile to fix up something for me so that I was happy eating at the Asda cafe.Thank you very much Sophie I really appreciate it!!!

I did like Asda Leicester Abbey Lane in the past when I was nine. I only went there from March until August each year from 2015, a year after the store originally opened in 2014, but now, being a teenager, the store was just too small for me by the time I stopped going there for good. I was so bored and lost interest in the Abbey Lane store. So I’m afraid to say this, I decided to no longer visit the Abbey Lane store. My last ever visit to the Abbey Lane store was Tuesday 11th July 2023 in the afternoon after school. I know I’m sure gonna miss visiting the store but my decision is final. My mum will still visit the Abbey Lane store as usual, it’s just that I won’t be anymore. I’ll still go to the Asda Leicester Thurmaston store and will soon go to the Asda Leicester Fosse Park store as well.Thank you for the memories of having me over the years Asda Leicester Abbey Lane and I’m sorry for permanently leaving the Abbey Lane store.Goodbye2015-2023

I'm 58 years old. Went to Asda on Sunday 17th December at 16.40 with my bycle. Security guard shouted at me and advised me I couldn't take bycle into store. I asked why not since seen others do it and have bikes stolen from me though locked that were cut with angle grinders. Said it was company policy, when asked to see policy I was told no. Called manager Rob a sruffy , unshaved, blue v-neck jumper, pot bellied. No people skills, when asked to see policy said no and told me he was getting quite frustrated. Told me to leave store which I did and took my custom elsewhere. Pity though since I throw flowers and feed ducks near council created area near river for people to pay respect to passed family members like my mum.

Asda where are the cheese & vegetable pie ready meal for one , it says in stock then when I put in my basket for home delivery says item unavailable haven't been in stock for quite some time now & I can't get in store to see if any in i have to have home delivery ?

A reliable store to shop at. You are more likely to finish all your shopping here rather than visiting multiple stores for the items that are not in stock.

£8 for kids sized adult breakfast is bad value for money. Bathroom was disgusting and strong smelling odours. Avoid cafe and bathrooms.

Mum elderly mother slipped on yoghurt 2 weeks ago. She is 83 and offered very little help or concern. We went to hospital luckily she didn’t break anything but is suffering with lower back pain. Plus she had a head injury with a bump the size of an egg.My mum gave 1 incorrect digit on her phone as she was confused but did however leave my cousins number .After waiting over a week for a call I called up but to be left to wait. After waiting a further 3 days i rang and spoke to the manager who kept on and on about this 1 digit and that she’d tried to call etc and that mum hadn’t broken anything so it was supposed to be ok . But she did have my cousins number. We are left feeling really dissatisfied with the ladies customer service skills don’t know her name but she did have a walking aid.All my mother wanted was a sincere apology and maybe if I was the general manager a token of sorry ie a goodwill bouquet or a simple voucher to say we hope you’ll continue yr shopping at Asda. !!!Mums left with bad back pain and feeling really upset that know one seemed to care. She’s 83 and frail and uses Asda weekly .Not any more I’m disgusted in your attitude and upset as this could of been really much worse.

This store as gone down hill within the last 6 months. I used to love shopping here. However, i shop on Saturday early mornings, I have struggled to get basic fresh products. Grocery shelfs not filled and alot of stock with no labels. Only 1 checkout open at 11am with 12 trolley customers awaiting to be served. Self service tills only 2 staff on and 6 customers deep waiting to go through. This is not a one off situation , I come every week and it's getting worse.. it never used to be like this!!.. come on management get a grip and let's see you on the shopfloor and not hiding in offices..

Used the click and collect today (1st Oct) what a shambolic set up. After 20 minutes waiting under the canopy I went into the shop to be told I have to check in, really as if hadn't done that, but anyway I then was told to knock the white door, which white door?? Or phone the number, which number?? But any way I call the number that I found, no reply, so then I followed a couple of people going towards a door, knocked the door and waited and waited. Now we are 35 minutes after my slot. But a lady came out and said she was sorry but it was her 1st day. Other people took their shopping to their car. I wasn't going to take my own food to my car because I do not work there she can do it. So then she brought the wrong order out just a little more annoyed now. I now wish I did work at adsa now because I would have done a better job.lets just say I will not be using click and collect at abbey Lane ever again

Ordered a tent, extended the delivery date, contacted Asda and spoke to two colleagues throughout the day to ensure the tent was still at Asda in Belgrave, walked 2 hours to collect the tent, tent not at asda? Poor accountability for this mistake and no advice on where to find my order or how long it will take to a refund. Basically no help from any of college but the lovely lady at the kiosk who tried to find people to help me.

Excellent service in the opticians from both staff on duty. They were courteous, polite and very helpful and sorted my problem ( a damaged pair of glasses) very quickly. Thank you.
