I had a terrible experience when I ordered food over the phone. Despite being told it would be ready in 10 minutes, upon arrival, they had just begun preparing it after I announced my presence.The cashier took my money, then proceeded to handle my food with bare hands, which was quite repulsive. Moreover, the portion of chicken in the box was minimal, with the majority of it filled with chips, making it an appalling value for the £22 spent.The food itself was stale and ended up causing an upset stomach.It's disappointing to see a decline in quality from a place that used to be good, likely due to inadequate staff who have poor communication skills and offer subpar customer service.

Honest review and feedback: The staff always get your order wrong. This has happened more than twice at this store. I ordered mutton tika but instead was given chicken Madras curry once. To add, today i was charged for crispy onions and coriander as extras but this was not added to any of my boxes. I order food from here regularly when I visit Leicester but nearly every time there’s something wrong with my order when I get home. Despite this, the food is delicious, the quality is good(chips are not fresh but the curries are) , there’s good customer service and I would recommend this place to all.

We are visiting Leicester and went in for a quick late-night snack, we shared the Paneer Tikka and Chips - it was really nice, really hit the spot. What also really surprised me is how CLEAN the inside of the restaurant was. It's not always the case in this type of fast food place but Bombay Bites was super clean, the tables, the floors, the walls. I think it's a good sign!

I went to Leicester today and the first thing in mind I was to find them online and I made an order. So I asked for the chutney separate and chips instead of rice, and also take away, none of it was done and when I asked for a take away container they kept on giving me bags, very bad service feels like asking for something gets ignored and they grab the closest thing to them, won't be going here again, the food was ruined due to just not listening to my order

Food was average - The fish pakora and aloo fritters were good. However the paneer biryani and paneer tikka was quite dry

Ended up ordering the vegetarian victory bowl which was absolutely tasty. The location is well kept, very clean and the service was so useful. Any questions we had, they had an answer for it. I do wish I got my bowl to be a bit spicer because it did tasted too sweet for my liking, I’ll come back and try a new dish but overall had a great experience here.
