Currently sat in Costa and if I could give 0 stars I would. We have just come back from sixth form and my friend was hungry so we stopped in Costa. Me and another friend had brought a drink from another shop and sat in Costa with the drinks whilst our other friend ate. We were sat and multiple staff were staring at us. A worker with blonde hair and glasses came up to our table and told us to put our drinks away which we did straight away as it’s understandable. Then we heard her talking to the other workers pointing at us talking in a very patronising way saying she wanted us out. Then she pointed at us as she stormed by saying “those girls are disrespectful” she then left and came back a few minutes later dressed out of her uniform. Then her and 2 other workers went into the back and continuously looked through the glass of the door pointing at our table. I would just like to say the table next us is full of food from other shops. This service was disgusting and has left me and my friends feeling uncomfortable and upset.

The drinks and food are really nice. Depending on the session of course..

Last week we went and had coffees and breakfast. My daughter has a nut and sesame allergy and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. When I asked if it was possible to put her breakfast on a fresh tray to go in the oven to heat up, not only were they fine with that, the person handling the food washed her hands and all the way up to her elbows before starting. So many places don’t know how to handle allergies, but this was above and beyond service.

don’t even know where to start. my son is level 3 autistic and has a blue badge. i visited this costa store today but accidentally left my blue badge in my other car due to swapping cars. i arrived at costa and nipped in for two minutes with my son and i parked in disabled (i visit this store often they probably see me park there numerous times) i have all documentation proving i have a DB but i thought i’m going to be here for probably the best part of two minutes so it shouldn’t be an issue. i parked close to the store doors due to my sons disability he isn’t able to walk for long periods of times and it’s also unsafe.the blonde chubby lady was SO rude and it was SO uncalled for. she basically told me i’m lying about my sons disability and i shouldn’t be parked there. she is ALWAYS rude and i’ve never had a pleasant moment with this lady. she basically discriminated my son which i will be taking further due to a hidden disability? costa need to be more wiser on who they employ cause she definitely shouldn’t be in employment. i am looking forward to taking this further.will never return here again. rude and arrogant people

Very cold attitude from employees. Didn't feel welcome at all. Quality of coffee poor, not even compliant with Costa standard. I requested whole milk and barista told me she used whole milk but when I tasted coffee it was skinny milk. Guys do something with your service or find another job.

If I could give no stars I would. Went today and I’m so appalled by the service. Staff are not welcoming at all and all look like grumps. The only table that was available was dirty. You would think they would use their initiative and clean the table when they see someone has just sat at it but no what do they do just stare and give dirty looks. I had to clean the table myself with a tissue. Honestly every Costa I’ve been to I’ve had a good experience. How this one is running the way it does is beyond me. Thank goodness there is Bru and Makaan as Costa is definitely a place to avoid. To the staff there, it doesn’t hurt to smile and act like decent people throughout the whole time I was there with family we were just stared at by particular staff member in the till. Would not recommend at all.

Dark dingy and even a little bit grimey. The service isn't great, it's Costa so the food and coffee is pretty standard. The table are cleaned when staff feel like it, it's dark with no atmosphere. Bru is up the road on one side, cafe Makkan on the other side. Avoid Costa unless it's a takeaway.Never busy that's obviously a clue too.

Not too bad overall. Drinks are a bit pricey but somewhat worth it. Service is amazing, staff is so kind

The young lady was given a mozzarella and tomato panini to toast, normally they would use a green tongues and a sheet to put in the toaster. The cheese overspill was pulled off and discarded. Not crispy enough as requested. What happened to the original panini press? On my visit they did not for us vegetarians it is very disturbing. We ate in so we could see the bad practices. The long spoon for the late was filthy so we swapped to the wooden stirrer’s.Definitely a time to improve standards and quality control of the stores. No room for bad practices as people are paying good money and expect top notch service for their investment in your stores.Vegetarian options: Poor choice and product quality.

One of my favourite places. Always always a friendly greeting. Always ready to help and make a great coffee. I will always go in there. Grandchildren love their breakfast there.
