I really like this place and someone who has allergies to not only eggs but dairy. I was happy to come here to find some treats for myself. I managed to get a slice of the walnut cake. I think it was walnut, but it was absolutely delicious( not dry at all)And really worth the money that I paid for it. I also got a caramelised red onion Sosage roll, which was lovely and a spicy Soya Samosa, I also picked up a ginger and lemon drink. In total, that came to about £9 Which was really good. A massive selection of vegan produce and ingredients and cooking AIDS as well. As little kind of snacks like chocolate bars and biscuits and crisps and things like that. But also there were some freezer items and to be fair. The staff are really helpful with kind of. Assisting you in your choice and giving you an idea of if it's something that you d actually like before you spend your money on it. But yeah, the staff were great and I will go there again. To be fair. It's a shop that I knew was around but I havenid1878 t been there for many years that being said. I think I will be visiting again.Vegetarian options: Cakes, biscuits, frozen items, teas, condiments too much to mentionDietary restrictions: This place is mainly vegan I would say, and everything is well labelled. They cook in house upstairs so you can ask about the food.

Lovely freshly made wraps and cakes and all sorts, great selection of vegan food and drinks, and lovely service - just a great little spot. Really recommend vegans and non-vegans alike to try the spicy jackfruit wrap !

Lovely fresh vegan snacks and cakes. Gluten free options which are clearly labelled (although produced in an environment that handles gluten so not suitable for all. Great range of products for the home and beauty as well as store cupboard items.

Absolute little gem of a shop, not just for Vegans! Got some great bargains but best of all was the wrap, very tasty, filling and excellent value for money. The young lady that served us was super friendly and helpful.

As a vegan living in the UK for six months now, I haven’t found more delicious vegan food than the takeaway snacks of Current Affairs (not even in London!). I often take a bus to Leicester just to bring a bag full of their quiches, jack fruit wraps (amazing!) and cookies (I strongly recommend the polenta with spinach as well). For vegans and non-vegans, it is a place with truly delicious savoury and sweet homemade food.
