We had a great night. The food was well prepared on the day, I could taste the ingredients fresh and care was taken in the cooking process. The dhal was flavoursome and smokey, breads were soft, fish was tasty. Spices were used well, not too much not too little.We even got a free dessert, which was excellent, Gulab Jamun and cream with beetroot halwa. The the staff showed us everything was handmade.Portions were great, starters were generous.The staff were excellent, took the time to talk to us and explain things, they were also entertaining and extremely friendly.Thank you for a great night. ?.Vegetarian options: Paneer stater was tasty well prepared and a good size.

Absolutely superb food, I highly recomend, from the serive they cant please enough, and tot he food whic is delicious. Bring from Indian Heritage and tried most restaurants around Leicester, this is by far and away the best. Dont hesitate

Genuinely one of the nicest Indian restaurants, came here for a friend's birthday. They were kind enough to organise a table of 7 on short notice, everything from service to food was amazing. My friend in question is vegetarian and from India so pleasing him is quite the task. He was very complimentary of the food, as were all the meat eaters. From the biryani, veg and meat mix grill to the chicken makhani. Everything was great. Thank you again for your great food, great service and we all hope to be back again very soon.

Excellent meal, the taste of Punjab and home cooking. Subtle blend of spices. The best Indian restaurant in Leicester! Our visitor from Amsterdam loved the tawa lamb. The rest of us are vegetarian and loved the Chana masala, bangen bertha and daal makhani.

Nice restaurant with plenty of seating and very welcoming staff.Food was ok, starters were very tasty but we both had lamb karahi for mains and it was very different to other karahi dishes we had elsewhere, maybe this food is from a different region?Usually served on a skillet in my experience.Priced quite high in my opinion but everything seems to be going that way.

Used to go to the FT at Melton Rd, same excellent service and the food is top notch. The bar has a great selection of drinks, and the lager is consistently excellent. Would recommend over any other restaurant locally. My go to is a half tandoori chicken eaten on a naan.

Really delicious food. Friendly service. Karachi chicken and achaai gosht (mustard lamb) delicious. Fresh chutneys with pops. V clean. Definitely will be back.
Lovely meal and attentive staff. A bit on the expensive side, but well worth it .The only downside is hearing the repetitive chime from the kitchen when food was ready to be collected. I can't imagine what it would be like when the restaurant is full. Don't let it put you off going, though. I would certainly go again.Parking: Street parking available along Queens Road . Pot luck depending on what time you go.

Had a dinner there and it was fantastic. The owner welcomed us with hospitality and the two servers who took care of us were fantastic. The food was amazing. It is a bit more expensive than the other Indian places in the neighborhood but you can tell they use better ingredients. Thumbs up! I recommend their spicy dishes, so good!
