Delicious ice-cream and sorbets.

After a fairly mediocre Italian meal, I felt the need to sample some authentic Italian gelato elsewhere. Due to the proximity of Gelato Village to my location and the great reviews on Google, I decided to give this place a try. Upon entry, I was greeted by a nice, clean, spacious, and airy gelateria with plenty of choices of flavors. The staff was also really friendly, especially the trainee half-black guy who took my order. I sadly did not get his name, but he was absolutely lovely and took the time to get to know me and converse with me. All in all, I was made to feel extremely welcome in this establishment. The ice cream is also very good value for money as you get three scops for one fixed price. I ordered one scoop of each of the Salted Caramel, Sttraciatella, and Fior di latte in a large cone. The Stracciatella and the Fior di latte were both delicious I did however find the Salted caramel to be too rich for my tastes. The cone was however delicious and was one of the best ice cream cones I've tasted. This place was so nice that I went back with friends who equally love the gelato here. I also tried the Crema gelato on my second visit and it was lovely. This is a place I would definitely return to when I am next in Leicester.

Was great to see the streets of Leicester bustling with people out, enjoying themselves again Sadly, Gelato Village yet again missed out, we arrived around 8pm, the queue for overpriced gelato was considerable, so I asked where to wait to order a coffee, I was told we are closing the machine is off, so no coffee in a rude dismissive manner. The staff here have gone out of their way to be rude to the paying public on numerous occasions Their gelato isn’t bad, but not worth the prices they charge We will not be returning, some people do not deserve to be in business and this is one such place!

Haven’t been since before the pandemic. I did not realise they did vegan flavours as well. All their gelato is so tasty. The staff are a fun bunch. Definitely worth going on any sort of day.

Very good gelato, really like you can enjoy in Italy. Try an "affogato" with either coffee or hot chocolate. We visite multiple times during our visit in Leicester and we enjoyed every flavour we tried. If you fancy, coffee is also very good. The location is nice, so sit down and enjoy the surroundings with some people watching time.

I visited Gelato Village yesterday with my partner. We were greeted by two lovely and friendly members of staff. We ordered the delicious affogatos and we asked for advice as to what flavours would be a good match. The staff were incredibly helpful and insightful, offering us the opportunity to give the wide range of options a taste beforehand. We really enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back for more yummy gelato!

Closest you will get Italian ice cream in the Midlands, me and my wife have been driving to Leicester from Nottingham for years just to come here! As nothing comes close where we live. My only negative feedback is that they don't have a shop in Nottingham, which they should as they would make a fortune! If you want to eat ice cream as it should be eaten, this is the place to go!

Have to pop in for ice cream every time I’m in town. The ice cream is that good!!! It might look expensive but it is sooooo worth it, it is divine ???? Go on treat yourself!! The waffles are pretty darn delicious too, but you have to be early to get those and I keep missing out booooo always sold out by the time I get there Please have more waffle batter available Gelato Village ??? thank you ?

The best Gelato outside of Italy. I just wish it was open more often like it used to be as they're now only open around 2 days a week. Hopefully there's more demand when the weather pics up.

As soon as I saw this gelateria I knew I had to try the ice cream even though it was a cold windy day. No worries, my husband could order a cup of coffee. Unusually, the ice cream was not on display but tucked away in stainless steel lidded containers so choosing was done ‘blind’. It was hard to choose but the server explained that you can have three flavours even in the smallest cone or tub. Each of the three I chose was delicious, just the right consistency, not too frozen and not so soft that it melted and dripped through the cone. Maybe a little on the expensive side, especially if buying for a family, but we sat indoors and the staff were friendly and attentive. I’d be a regular if I lived in Leicester!

Likely the best Gelato in the UK. I have looked and tried but I have never had better. Every vendor I have tried in Italy during the weeks I have spent there, I have never found anywhere as good quality.

It's the only place I want to get ice cream from in the City. There is a wide selection of flavours to choose from and the service is efficient and very friendly.
