Amazing gelato! Super friendly people who work there and very patient while we were debating which flavour to get :)Dietary restrictions: Has allergens listed by the gelato.

Ice cream is very tasty. Shame about the arrogant staff. Took my 4 year old for ice cream and he pointed to the flavours and touched the glass whilst doing so. Got rudely reprimanded by the staff. Perhaps it should be a museum. This was just one of the occasions where I have visited and the stuff have been rude.

They are allergy friendly! Allergens are listed out and they have individual scoops for each flavours to minimise cross contamination. A mini scoop is bigger than expected!

Great Ice cream shop - so many delicious flavours to choose from. I went for the pistachio flavour and it was bang on full of flavour!! Would highly recommend.

Delicious gelatos with a kind, honest owner and staff. I lost my purse in the shop and the owner was very proactive in returning it to me. Thank you one and all! You have a lovely business and deserve success. ?

Great place to go to and have a cooling gelato. They have a decent range of flavours to choose from. I highly recommend the Mango Lassi flavour if it’s available. I also recommend the hazelnut which was a very balanced and tasty flavour. Although parking nearby is a struggle to get it’s definitely worth it.

Loved the selection of Gelato. It made an impression that there is a focus on local selections - local flavours (Richard III Gelato), local dairy sourced products, too.Service was quick and the seats outside are lovely on a sunny day.

Gelato Village was a true haven of warmth, friendliness, fantastic gelato and, umm, dryness, on a rainy Saturday afternoon! Sadly the weather meant that we couldn't use the outside tables - always a perfect spot for people watching - but there were tables inside and the usual friendly atmosphere. This gelateria manages to make every visitor feel like an old friend. I had my favourite stracciatella I *am* #TeamStracciatella) along with gorgeous dark chocolate - the darkness of the dark chocolate works beautifully with the mildness of the stracciatella and my son has stracciatella, fior di latte and milk chocolate. He was very happy! Gelato Village is the perfect spot for desert after an evening (or lunchtime) meal nearby, for a lunchtime treat, a mid-afternoon escape from the rain or just because it does the best gelato outside Passignano - the Umbrian one I grew up on! Indeed, Gelato Village continues to win international awards for its gelato and is now mentioned in most serious national newspaper articles about 'where to go for the best gelato'. We're so privileged to have it in Leicester.

Range of in house gelato, available to eat in or take away. You can also buy boxes to enjoy at home. Absolutely delicious! Get there early if you want Richard III as it's often sold out.

One of the best ice cream place in Leicester. Love that they offer three different options for all cones/cup sizes. Not many authentic gelato placees around so always busy. Good variety and menu keeps updating.

Various flavors to choose. Don’t forget to try Richard III. It’s a must for King Richard III’s sake. Just kidding, try it because it’s a nice flavor. Lovely staff!

The ice cream was delicious as always but some popular flavours were out of stock considering we were the first customers of the day.The lady who served us also had no idea or probably lacked training in how to prepare a gelato, it went down the sides of the cone, no rounded scoop at the top, it was a slap dash service.
