Gordon has excellent customer service , he made the birthday girl feel special with a birthday complimentary cake. We had a group of 30 people who all enjoyed the food , we were given a nice space for our group , kids were entertained with play area. Thankyou so much Gordon not the first time you assisted my mum when needed.

I frequently visit grove farm purely because of the amazing waiter Gordon, he is always friendly & extremely helpful with any requests we require. I do hope he gets the recognition he deserves .

To be honest my Xmas burger was not very nice and the signature cake was awful. None of us enjoyed the cake !. Such a shame because I've always had a nice carvery there previously.

Went with a large family group of 8 people. Lots of parking. Place was clean and light. All the meals were absolutely perfect and large portions. The ice cream selection counter was amazing. And the fudge cake and sticky toffee pudding was 4x the size of most other places! Good strong coffee too. Our server Keelan was so helpful. Thanks. We will be back!Wheelchair accessibility: Accesible toilets

A great find. Minutes from the M1, with generous portions of food at very reasonable prices. Buzzing friendly atmosphere when I was there and fast, friendly service too. I'll remember this place as a great place to stop on my journeys up and down the motorway. Thank you Grove Farm

We had meal from the carvery. Every thing was hot and well presented. There were 3 meats to choose from the and all were delicious. The staff were under a great deal of pressure as the large pub was full, but they attended to everyone with a smile. The atmosphere was busy and quite noisy but it was the run up to Christmas. Perhaps not the ideal place for a romantic meal! We will be back. Excellent value for money. Thank you.

Jodi was so helpful when we dropped by for a Sunday lunch today. She assisted my grandson in filling his plate and carried both our meals l, as I am a wheelchair user, to the table for us. Only compliant from my grandson was that his pigs in blankets, were both missing the blanket (bacon bit)! The lady on the bar was very helpful to.and carried our drinks to the table for us.Wheelchair accessibility: They.doors.are.not automatic and are quite heavy to open. The slalom to reach the carvery is very narrow. Wheelchair users should be able to access without going through this.

Food was great. Whole family enjoyed it. Think the team need a little refresher on customer service. Carvery chef never spoke a word to any of us. Bartender who took our order was non communicative and put our carvery tickets in a puddle of beer on the bar!! Waitress awkwardly approached us to ask if our meal was okay. And then just walked off when we said yeh it’s great. Not a smile or hint of acknowledgment.Over all I would revisit for the great food. But the atmosphere wasn’t fab.

Very busy place on a Sunday but well managed with plenty of staff. All had roast dinner which was delicious. Prices roughly £9 for small, £11 for medium and £13 for large. Cheaper on a week day. Highly recommended.

Delicious self-serve carvery with plenty of choice. We turned up without a booking and they accommodated us. Good kids menu although the larger kids portion size is quite small still disappointingly. Lots of tasty cakes and ice cream flavours and there is an indoor kids play area. Nothing for older kids. No outdoor play area. Lots of choice on the menus and plenty if drink choices too. It can get busy and loud so not somewhere for a romantic date, but great with family or friends. Would recommend.Parking: Lots of parking in their car park.Kid-friendliness: Kid menu and indoor play area.

We came without booking and although it was busy our meet and greet Gordon found us a table with no fuss. Food was easy to order from an extensive menu and arrived within 15 minutes. Throughout our visit Gordon was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. All together an enjoyable visitParking: Spacious car park

We came as a family of 4. We enjoyed the visit but could not have done it without the help of Gordon. He was ace!! He is the technical expert who helps us older customers work out how to order from the table. He downloaded the App for me, logged in, used my Blue Light card and showed us how to order. It was a busy Sunday lunch so well done for supporting us at such a busy time. Service was great, staff were friendly and very efficient. Excellent experience and would definitely recommend to others. Thank you Gordon for making the event special. Great asset to the team!

Carvery was pleasant enough but the staff were quite rude and unfriendly unfortunately. The pub also needed a good clean and tidy. Maybe we just visited on an off day. If you're after a quick cheapish carvery (midday price) then it's ok.

When we went it was nice and not to busy on a Thursday evening, no major queues and a chilled atmosphere. Prices are very good value for money. E.g. I had a large cheese burger ? and good portion of chunky chips for around £8! In the city that would easily cost double. Would visit again.Parking: Around 50 spaces.

I was served by a waitress as can't stand for long as I use crutches. She brought the 2 meals to our table, on looking at my meal there was enough stuffing for 3 people. Hardly any meat at all, a great heap of mashed potatoes enough for 2. A great load of peas, carrots. Not a nice carvery. A carvery should mean meat carvery, I gave my granddaughter gammon what bit I had, as she hardly had any meat also. No won't ever go there again. A complete waste of money.
