Food is always amazing, this was my go-to place for the past couple years. However, portions have now been reduced. I'm not paying 11 pounds for rice and a 2 pieces of chicken. Please make the portions bigger again

They reduced their portions. Still charge 10 pounds per portion but cut up 2 pieces of katsu chicken instead of 3. I asked the lady why this is and she said there is new management and so this is the new portion so she cannot fill it up to the top. Disappointing. Not coming back.

I ordered the beef and really didn't enjoy it. I may visit again to try something else as it might have just been the beef dish that wasn't great.

Staff are great. Really nice lady works there. Food is terrible though. The quality of the meat was really poor. I ended up returning it. £9.55 for rice and poor meat is not on. Won’t be going again, despite the nice staff.

The sushi rice was way too mushy. The salmon and prawn sashimi was good along with the inari. But a huge red flag in sushi is mayo. I’ve had sushi in LA, Tokyo, and New Delhi. New Delhi drowns their sushi in mayonnaise and it’s so disgusting. My salmon and avocado rolls had light mayo on the inside and I didn’t realize it when I looked at the rolls but when I was eating the rolls they tasted off. The rice was too mushy and there was mayonnaise. I’d skip this place if you’re a bit of a sushi snob. Staff was super friendly.
The Tofu Katsu Curry was good, portion size was also good. Definitely recommend for a clean, quick and tasty takeaway.

This is the third time visiting a different Kokoro.It is the first time where they wouldn't customise options even though we were the only ones in there. Disappointing as all the other Kokoros had before and we could see someone making up the sushi so it isn't like anyone wasn't available.This happened the second time visiting this Kokoro yesterday, the first time we went at lunch time and ordered a Pumpkin Katsu Curry and a Chicken Katsu Curry, we were very surprised at how much Pumpkin and Chicken we got as other places like Yo Sushi for example only give you a small amount.The down side was that I felt like the curry had a bit of a strange after taste, I have tried a lot of katsu Currys and none of them had this weird taste.A lot of options and it was clean which is why I am giving it 3 stars.
